You are mixing up being a good coordinator which he is and a good head coach which he isn't. His teams were totally undisciplined and his defenses never got a stop when needed. I hope he gets another head coaching job which he will surely fail at for a second time.

Seems to be a players coach and the success on the field vs what we see now speaks for itself. I think he’d easily be doing what New England is doing with Vrabel if he had that offense with Josh. The 9ers are 6-3 with a team that should be 0-9 and that’s not all Kyle.

There is nothing wrong with being a good coordinator and not a head coach and Saleh is very much like McDaniels in that they are in the positions they belong.

I’m higher on Saleh than most as a HC. Think he’d do well but obviously want him to stay in SF. You cannot hold anything against him other than praise for what he did in NY.

If being better than Glenn is the question yes Saleh was not the worst coach in Jets history but if I was hiring a head coach he wouldn't even get an interview.
 
The funniest thing I've heard is that Sauce didn't fit in the Glenn defense. I mean why would a great cornerback fit in the 27th best scoring defense in the league that was pretty good every other year of his career.
 
If you needed further proof that Glenn is an asshole on top of being completely incompetent he benched Quincy Williams who has been the Jets best linebacker the last few season the day after trading his brother which I'm sure is just a coincidence.
