If that's what you're referring to they always wait until the draft is done.

The last few years it's went back 7-10 days but been in May for years now.

Are you sure 3-4 years ago??

I was almost positive they went post draft at least this whole decade.

May 9th in 2020


April 17th in 2019.

So I'll assume they were all right around the draft last decade (draft used to be more in the middle of April).

Backed it up COVID year when they didn’t know if they were going to have a season and kept it there
