Hope this rookie qb class ends up being as good as their potential
Crazy season regarding highly drafted QBs. We were waiting for at least two of the first rounders to go bust and they've impressed (even Caleb did, he just happened to have the worst OL in the league protecting for him so I'm pretty sure he'll be fine) with only JJ getting the incomplete. Which brings to light the revitalization of two basic highly drafted busts (Darnold, Bryce) which we rarely see.

Was anyone else unimpressed with Penix? He made one good throw, the fastball touchdown…but he missed soooo many other throws. It’s like any deep ball or pass that needed some arc was missed badly.

Do The Right Thing had too little aesthetic, too much interest in socially themed controversy. There needs to be more of a balance. That movie riles me up, and I just don’t get excited about feeling that way.

For context, John Elway was 1 for 8 for 14 yards in his first road start......MP missed a few throws, but let's pump the breaks on the implied bust narrative

Lest we not forget the entire first season in which Peyton Manning looked incompetent most of the time. By today's standards he would be a backup next season then traded for a 4th rounder in year 3.
