***NFL In-Game Thread***

Shitty teams lose games in shitty ways.

It wasn’t an illegal shift or a false start, was it? Center snapped the ball early, should’ve just been a fumble but no penalty.
WRs were still getting set, that was the illegal motion. Regardless, it’s a post snap penalty so as soon as the ball hit the ground it was game over. No time left for Raiders if they had recovered.

Da Hoss is right, kick the field on 3rd down.

Supposedly this happens to every team. When have the Chiefs ever been on the losing side of an ending like this? Refs literally blew the play dead and then decided to give the game to the Chiefs. Joke of a league
AFC Championship when Brady threw a game ending pick but they said a lineman lined up offsides.

I assume it would have been a ten second runoff? Wasn't watching but sounds like the game was over when they snapped it illegally

Raiders deserved to lose from how Pierce mangled the drive before. That will be forgotten in the last play fiasco, but that was coaching malpractice.

What I see/hear:

- Don't hear a whistle until the ball is covered by the Chiefs
- Side judge on Raiders side of the field throws flag and runs in signaling false start.
- Does not appear that any player actually false "started". WRs finished shift too close to snap and the center snapped it before 75% of the players were even ready.

In the end it looks like the refs talked it out, and the final call on the field matched the result of the play. Raiders gonna raid. Chiefs get lucky. Brady gonna clean up the Raiders mess starting next year.

The Chiefs luck will run dry before the Bowl that they'll be watching from home.

Tend to agree. While I understand the thought process the playoff games are usually close and nobody as prepared and well versed in winning close games as these guys but I just can’t believe this gonna be the 1st team to ever 3peat! That would be insane considering how pedestrian they have looked last 2 years. If nothing else those tackles are gonna be their downfall, they can’t protect for shit. It’s starting to remind me of the beat up oline they took to SB vs Brady Bucs and got crushed. Mahomes and Reid can mask a lot of stuff but if you can’t protect the edges it gonna cost you!! I mean yea burrow went to a SB with maybe the worst oline I ever seen in playoff but he had world class weapons. I think there to many teams out there hungry and someone will clip them, I just hope Steelers get a chance, after they inevitably lose to them on Xmas day, the setup be perfect!!

434 total yards allowed at home vs the Raiders. Nuff said

The tackles an even bigger problem. I mean bowers prob got 150 of it. Not many playoff teams have a bowers. I hope he finds a way to get away from raiders or they put some talent around that kid, he is fucking Awesime, he everything Pitts was supposed to be coming out and more!! No offense to Pitts he figuring it out but took him few years, has better players around him; and he still not doing anything like bowers! That kid is HOF special!

I tend to think spags and the d get things tightened up by playoffs but those tackles are garbage. Pachecho back will have the offense gradually getting stronger in red zone but if they don’t find a way to get edges blocked what happens when they run into watt and Steelers d??
