I hated going for 2 there.

Just like on MNF.

Why?

Let's say that succeeds...

Baltimore with 35+ seconds AND two timeouts.

They MUST be aggressive.

Now, tie game, they will try to get to FG range but also will be conservative enough to not commit a turnover.

I love going for 2 on the road -- but I'd say you need 15 seconds or less when the other team has timeouts.

First time I logged in to the Amazon this season and what a treat. That was an insanely well played offensive football game.

If you start this season over, the Panthers are an NFC contender. Don't think anything can change my mind on that. Don't think they're top 3 or anything but they'd be in the playoffs for sure and would be hanging in road playoff games people would be expecting them to lose.

Danny Jones is just a pisspoor decision maker. And he's learning to be one from Daboll, who has never hesitated to take something that's working and put in on the shelve in favor of a harebrained playcall.

They should've turned it over more than once on that very short drive that started with a short field and 3pts being extremely important

Why are you running a draw play on first down Daboll? You really think Carolina is expecting pass because you threw it 10 times straight? Run power and there aren't four guys surrounding Tracy to strip it.

I don't understand why they bothered to run a play at all. Just kick the FG if that's all you're going to do.
That's what I meant because it was extremely risky. I could see if you're trying to get a super quick out route and trust the QB to be super careful trying to shorten like a 59 yard FG, but that was a 42 yarder.
