NFL In-Game Thread 2025-2026

These last two weeks this meathead has cost me quite a bit. I'm not sure who I hate more right now the Lions or Oregon but screw them both.

not sure what kc's captain meant there by "a lot of young guys are gonna showcase some talent tonight"

immediately hopeful for a jaylen royals bomb

game feels like detroit/minny so far. detroit gifted minnesota with the short field TD in the first half. other than that minnesota couldn't do shit on their own

if you're on the under you've gotta love these super long drives. yes all 3 resulted in points, but 2 of them were just FGs. and it killed like 27 minutes of game clock

big difference now between this game and det/min is detroit could never grab the lead to put any pressure on minnesota. denver has managed to actually take the lead. lets see what KC does to respond

Herbert throwing high hard ones. Are QBs taught to throw it above the helmet? Aikman was brilliant at hitting guys between the numbers.

remember when Mark Tuinei put a water bottle on his head and said knock it off, Aikman did.
I know a certain QB in college that wears maroon that definitely throws above the helmet.

Another reason why the league needs the Super Challenge.
They can challenge PI in the CFL but it's rare and it's way different than your typical challenge to prove. Only seen it overturned once.

Be cool if they offer those challenges and have a board vote that if you lose it you put 2% of your ownership equity into the community pot. That would be fun!

Third party voters of course, like the Oscars

Also that play would have lost a challenge. By the book it was the correct call. It also happens on 9/10 plays and doesn't get called.

If you want to start somewhere, start with when and how some ridiculous rules are applied or just do away with automatic first downs on illegal contact and go from there

This. No penalty other than personal fouls should result in an automatic first down. Apply the yardage for the penalty, and if it isn't even for a first down then replay the down.
