NFL In-Game Thread 2025-2026

Coaching.... Again!!

Why are you snapping the ball with under 5 seconds left in the quarter and 10 seconds left on the play clock?

Da Bears!

Millions of dollars for this ineptitude!!

Yep. This game was no fluke. I’ve watched most of their games as they are my oldest’s favorite team. They are legit. The D is very good. And they have Bijan and Drake
Was a Falcons fan in the impressionable high school years. FSU starter jacket, Deion, etc. First ever NFL game was at Arrowhead in Glanville's first season (I believe) and the first time they did the black unis, because Glanville. Opening kickoff was a touchback and of course ATL got a 15 yarder for late hit in the endzone 🤣. Chiefs won 14-3. Was such a sucker for that team. In Iowa we didn't really have a team. Sure there were Bears, Chiefs, Vikings, Packers fans in that order growing up and I like the Vikes but wasn't gung ho. Then the Dirty Birds crept in when I was impressionable. Obv having lived here more than half my life I'm all Cardinals now but I still have that spot for Atlanta. Took mom to her first NFL game here, the WC game against the Falcons the year we went to the SB. Beak to beak playoff bonanza!

Too many teams in this league are getting too cute with things.

Yeah. I’m happy for that team and fans. And owner:seems like a good dude actually. Unlike most of the scumbags

Great play, great pass.

Buck ruins it by yelling "flag on the play" while the ball is being caught.

Atlanta is a tough market to gain traction with fans, probably the most similar to us with transplants. All sports. And the Falcons have done some very fan-friendly promotions over the years. Think they did something like dollar/game upper deck season tickets one year trying to get fans. Still find it bananas that they have Chik fil a stands in that stadium but they aren't open on Sundays. Obv the company policy but WTF why even bother?

God I hate the Dodgers but when they tack on needed runs in the top of the 9th I can forget about who they are for a minute when I have -1.5

Yeah. That’s odd. But badass for when they are open there. I think they also have the $5 or whatever concessions

BTW for anyone keeping track the Browns broke ground on a $3.1 billion dollar stadium in the last couple weeks (I think) that looks like something out of the future. Lots of private equity in it. Looks so cool. Give it a google if you haven't seen it.

Here’s how this one ends. Washington gets enough for a FG attempt and stalls. Redskins miss a 49 yarder. Caleb takes the Bears to the Wash 28 and the Bears kick a 45 yarder at the gun to and it

Does a fumble work?

And that's not on Bill there.

Haha Bears really fucked that all up by running on the first two downs. Now they have to get a first or it's basically game over. How do you not either get the first or give the ball back before the two minute warning? It's now all eggs in one basket. Terrible clock management.

As a Redskins fan I can’t even begin to tell you how many times I’ve seen that movie play out over the years. And it never gets easier to watch 😣

Not sure why I get a sense of euphoria out of how uncomfortable kicker interviews are. If I'm alone and need to see a shrink so be it but I enjoy them so much

In a situation like this they just run very basic packages? Baker’s done it, maybe even under less time?

A lot points to Cincinnati here….

I’m looking for more opinions…line just has been sitting

tomlin mashes MNF, thursday not so much. and he was bitching about flacco. he had week 5 bye to prep for these last 2 games and the trade on october 7th probably messed that up. we faded tomlin last year on a thursday at cleveland but that was more of a weather thing

Is it on tv or do I need to log in to something? Thurdsday NFL is an afterthought at this point. No clue who's playing, no wagers
