NFL In-Game Thread 2025-2026

I'm assuming this means the Rams will put in an effort tomorrow. Gotta prefer playing the #4 seed rather than at Philly or Chicago.

Solid win by Seattle despite the officiating being against them.

The conspiracy nut cases who think officials side one way or the other are just that. Nut cases. I hate it when a zebra makes a call against my team but I don't give it too much thought - calls go both ways. Always have, always will.

The sideways idiots that think officials are in the tank are the same ones who exchange Christmas cards with Kyrie Irving while contemplating a tandem base jump off the side of the earth with him.

Enjoy the game knowing that players decide it 99% of the time. Otherwise, seek some help.

After the game they asked Kenbone, "What's the narrative on Sam?" Kenbone didn't know what the fuck she was talking about. Post game, on ESPN, SVP ask Charbonet, "We see this league thru the eyes of the quarterback, what's the narrative on Sam?" Again, Charbonet didn't know what the fuck he was talking about.

I still don't know what they were trying to manufacture there, but they failed foolishly, twice. Might as well be watching The View.

If you listen close enough to which teams ESPN is trying to push, you can figure out which teams to fade. I still think Ole Miss over Georgia cost them some money and they're pissed about it. Whatever stupid narrative they had planned.

While I don't think every game is manipulated, there sure have been some Chiefs playoff games that were real fishy over the years ...Especially the ZERO penalty ones , where you can easily see the holding or super early false starts with the naked eye ..Gets much worse if you watch them back on all 22 ...

As a Bills fan I get texts from a buddy who's at the game like , " Bet the Bills to score this drive , they just allowed us to blatantly hold on back to back Cook runs". " Or this is our drive, the Refs are letting Knox run pick plays with no call again "

This league has been turned into something like old school WWF ...It's a big soap opera for networks who broadcast it , always looking for narratives , feel good stories , heros and villains..

I come from the Holy Land of nauseating blame games, Texas Longhorn football. It's unparalleled bullshit. There's threads and threads, on seemingly reputable websites, dedicated to how the holier-than-thou burnt orange continues to get fucked over by satanic, triple-6 headed devils conveniently disguised in striped shirts.

Hell, I'm sure there were panty wastes bitching and moaning Wednesday night, hours after Texas ran over Michigan. End of the day, it's why I migrated over to this site 19 years ago (yikes). Lots of level-headed talk. Still, this board is not immune to idiocy as you can see in this game thread tonight.

It's never been about officials missing a call here and there. It happens. Accept it. Blaming officiating for overall outcomes of games is and always will be vaginal. At all levels. There will be individual issues with officiating, going both ways. There are things that can be done to correct major hiccups they commit. That's where h=the discontent needs to be directed and fixed.

Brady‘s Patriots too. The fishiness only favored one team, so it was obvious. The answer was always oh Brady and Mahomes are gods, they‘re just the greatest ever. Well look at KC now when it doesn’t get the critical calls in every one-score game lol

On the subject of ref manipulation, notice how the ref right next to the supposed OPI happening doesn‘t do anything, then the ref downfield throws the flag as soon as McMillan makes the catch lol

Does the rules analyst serve any other purpose than to make fans believe that the refs are legitimate? They‘re just as much PR guy as rule analyst

Don't even get me started on the Cheatriots ..We should never forget when Roger promised to released the tapes of them cheating , but then burned them ( nothing to see there ) ...Andre Johnson flipping out saying the Patriots were calling out their plays pre snap , some of which they just installed on Thursday and Friday ...Then they got busted again taping the 2-11 Bungals sideline to steal calls ... Gronkowski used to joke with his Buffalo buddies that the refs would tell Bill when they could run pick plays for critical first downs.

All the focus on the Saints/Falcons game today on Redzone just showing how awful Chris Myers has become as a play-by-play guy. He totally missed the Saints interception of a Kirkie screen pass in the redzone, calling it a fumble recovery. Fox gotta find some new talent.
