We have 24 participants, so we will not be able to do a H2H the first week ( this will change if by chance we get to 32 people)
How Week1 will work:
All participants make 5 picks and a tiebreaker pick on the total number of points in the MNF game.
The top 8 from Week1 get a bye until week 3, or the "sweet sixteen". The remaining 16 will be in a H2H in week 2.
No one will be eliminated after week1.
How Week 2 will work:
The top 8 from Week1 get a bye to week 3 ( sweet 16)
The remaining 16 will be in a H2H, again making 5 picks with a tiebreaker on the MNF total
8 people will be eliminated this week
How Week 3 and beyond will work:
Everyone left will be in a H2H again making 5 picks with a tiebreaker on the MNF total.
After week1 is completed everyone will be assigned a number 1-24 ( or whatever the final number is). This will be the number to assign the random draw after the pick deadline passes. You won't know your opponent until after the deadline for picks is due
Rules:
1. You are required to make a total of 5 picks every week you are in the contest. This can only be ATS or TOTALS. This is an example of how your picks should look.
Oakland +15
Detroit +5
Pitt +1
New England +3
Jax +59
MNF TOTAL 45
2. You are required to make a tiebreaker pick on the MNF total. . If for some reason people are still tied after the first tiebreaker, we will have to use the Thursday night game total the following the week.
3. NO THURSDAY games. Only Sunday and Monday games will be used. The only exception is Thanksgiving week when you will be allowed to make picks on the Thursday games
4. Pick deadline is 11:59 PM EST, 8:59 PM PST Saturday SHARP!!!. Pick deadline for Thanksgiving week if you are making picks on the Thursday games will be 8AM EST
5. Please keep your picks in one post. You can edit your picks up until the deadline
We will have a new thread up every Tuesday with posted lines from BOL.
So to summarize.
1st week- Everyone makes 5 picks no H2H
2nd week- Top 8 from week 1 get bye to week 3 of the contest. Remaining 16 make 5 picks. Your opponent is chosen randomly after the pick deadline
3rd week and beyond- H2H your opponent is chosen by random after the pick deadline.
Everyone will at least move on to Week 2, and 8 lucky ones will get a bye to Week 3 ( this is assuming we remain at 24 people).
We will determine the payout structure once we have everyone paid and ready to go
