New guy here, W4 Plays

E.T.G.

One of trus baby mommas
Whats up guys, I have just been reading for the last few weeks and have decided to post. See some familiar names from over at therx where I usually post (pags, sooners)... Quality board guys!

Ok here we go:
Nevada -7
Louisville -14 (damn I am pissed I missed this on sunday night!)
Louisville -7.5 1st half - I will take my chances, got a chance to catch some of the Marshall/Kstate game, feeling pretty good about this
Rice +31 - FSU is no Texas and I made a smaller play on this one than the others but I think there is some value in Rice. FSU offense is ehhhhhh
Cal - 7 (bought .5), I won with ASU last week thanks to that muffed punt at the end but Colorodo was able to rush the ball pretty good in the second half and their offense is awful to watch. Think Lynch and Forsett can run for days..
Central Mich - 4 - They have been good to me
WVU - 13 1st half - They will come out running for daylight against the 115? rushing defense... Slaton is good for 2 by half, add in some Pat white and maybe a field goal...
BC -6.5 - I do not like to play on BC because it seems no matter who they play, the game is close.. However, NC State is pitiful and I hope BC is good for a 1TD win..
Western Mich - 27.5 - Temple...need I say more? This hasnt failed me the last 2weeks so I hope it continues...
LSU - 20.5 1st Half - They are coming out pissed, poor Tulane. On top of the fact that Tulane does not have the athletes to compete anyway..
USC - 11.5 1st Half - (Another game I am pissed I missed out on Sunday night..I need to start placing these bets a little earlier...The offense continues to improve, nebraska is a better team than zona and look what happened.. Jarrett for 2 !

Other games I am looking at:
Hawaii + 15 - hope line climbs some more.. Have read some interesting stuff from different guys on Hawaii and this is pick id tail..
Ucla - 3.5 - need to look into this game a little more but at first glance I thought the line was a little off..Anyone with thoughts here?

For everyone else, I am a student at Univ of South Carolina and for anyone thinking of betting the -29 vs. Florida Atlantic should be a little cautious about that. Yes Florida Atl is a near clone of Temple but the offensive line for USC sucks. It will feature true frosh and a bunch of guys who couldn't block their own shadow. Syvelle Newton is starting again this wk even though Blake is back from suspension because we need our QB to run around to make a play since our line can not block. I just do not think we deserve to lay 29 to anyone but hey I also thought we had a shot vs. UGA. I was at the Wofford game and we looked awful. If not for Cory Boyd breaking tackles himself or Rice making a spectacular catch we could of lost that game! Wofford rushed for 270 yds?!?!?! We looked very bad and at this point I would not trust my money on this team even thought Spurrier is dying to blow someone out.

everythingthatsgreen - Welcome to the Forum of NCAAF Forums man!

Our Week 4 cards are practically mirror images. Needless to say, I like it alot. GL to you this week. :shake:

I like Louisville, Cal and will probably bet Hawaii after line stops going up. I agree with your thoughts on South Carolina, but it's hard laying money again on FAU after they lost me money on K-State earlier.

Good luck, and welcome to the site!

welcome aboard green!

loving that LSU first half...juice keeps rising and may move to 21 by tomorrow.

Anybody have some ideas as to why the BC-NC St line is moving in NC St's favor? BC beat them by 20 last year and NC St seems to be much worse this year. BC beat Clemson this year and BYU is far better than people realize. Is it simply because they have not been covering?

Maybe a lot of people have more faith in a second string QB than I do. I don't know the answer to that one.

Green,

Welcome aboard. I agree with you on South Carolina. Back many years ago, when I was in the army, I went through Basic in Columbia, when they had George Rodgers there. Columbia was a great place to party!!!!!!

Adding a play for tonights game..

Georgia T -10 1st half.. - Looking for them to jump on them early. RS QB making his first start away against a pretty good defense.. Feel good about this!

Huge Pick6 by Nevada to cover. I did not have a chance to watch the game, only the last 6 minutes however I was told that Nevada blew plenty of chances to put some points on the board. Regardless, a win is a win..

2-0, Lets keep it going..GL to every1

Ok here we go, wins are in bold....:
Nevada -7 - already posted about this game, I was fortunate to see the last 6min and the Pick6

Louisville -14 - Watched bits of this game, mostly first half. Thnink they looked ok. Fumbles cost them some points..
Louisville -7.5 - see above

Rice +31 - Got beat up here, Im not usually one who plays these types of games, played it mostly because I did not believe FSU had an offense...

Cal - 7 (bought .5) - Well, I did not need that hook after all. Arizona St did run all over Cal defense though for the most part. Cal capatialized on all the points they could for sure.

Central Mich - 4 - They have been good to me - I said that before the game, and they continue to cover the spread. Did not see this game.

WVU - 13 - Thought I would get this one but that Pick on the roll out by white killed those chances. ECU hung tough, I still think Louisville beats them this yr.

BC -6.5 - Boy do they suck. They are not #20 in the country and tonight nc state finally gave us a reason not to believe.. That kicking game is atrocious...They do not know how to beat a team, no matter who they play, they play to the level of their competition. See Clemson and then BYU, NC State and Central Mich games. They covered the BYU game by luck. The only way for them to cover played out...Stupid on my part, I hate betting this team and actually laughed at a friend last wk when he played BC, even though he won, their games are too stressful. That makes them 1-3 (2-2 did were they underdogs vs. clemson? I cannot recall) against the spread. This game pissed me off the most.

Western Mich - 27.5 - Temple...Temple...Temple.. Just bet against these guys, Kind of worried me when it was low scoring in the first but Temple faded and West Mich rolled.

LSU - 20.5 - Just the better team..Tulane is outmatched.

USC - 11.5 - Did not think I would lose this one. 3-0 at half, I have Notre Dame on the television and not this game so I can not watch it. On a side note, Notre Dame...Wow..the over in that game, def. missed the boat on that one!.

I also played GT on Thurs -10 first half and won that. Overall thats 8-4 ..
I'll take it.. Never thought the #3 and #4 teams couldn't cover for me either.. Got some breaks and also had some things go against me so I guess it works itself out.
