NCAAF In-Game Thread

id be curious whats the other two

I know we all hate soccer, but Leicester winning English Premier League at +50000 or whatever is pretty up there
I believe Hickory High winning the Indiana state championship is top 3 as well

Again, one-sided officiating certainly wouldn't have gone in Miami's favor

That PI to give IU was criminal if the rest of it was or they likely go to HT without a TD drive in the first half

IU was hosed all game you’re right

Only had ML parlays with IU but man they should have been up much more in the 1h, but they were also lucky with the punt block score and holding on when they couldn’t stop Miami 2h. Both can be true.

Snyder did it under a different umbrella but it took longer and he never got to the pinnacle.

Okay, this is unparalleled in American sports history. I'm onboard with that. As it is probably true.

If any conf is going to get the benefit of the doubt next year, doesn't it have to be the conf that has had 3 different teams win the last three titles?

I asked my friend Chat GPT

1982 Chaminade beats Virginia
1950 US beats England in World Cup game

The Robot is stupid all too often.

IU was an acne-infested teenager that for 125 years was never invited to the Prom.

It not only went to the Prom over the last 4 months, but it did so and also fucked the Prom Queen over and over.

16-0 has never been achieved in this sport. Ever.

yeah fair enough

IU coaching was suspect at best tonight. Clock management. Offensive playcalling. And on.

But IU won.

Cignetti is drawing $11.6MM / year and you could triple or quadruple that and it would be insufficient. Hyperbole? Not at all. You cannot begin to quantify (maybe ask Bame) what this means to a school. The largest alumni base in the country could collectively drop dead tomorrow, albeit hungover, and it would be happy.

This is life changing for that entire institution. The door mat is now king of the castle. Still hard to believe. But good for IU.

I didn't even know SI was still being published. An all-time photo, no doubt. A split second after this photo (Miami defender with his helmet depicted) Mendoza took a brutal shot to the kidney. Still surprised he didn't cough up the ball (although he broken the plane).

In his post-game interview with Holly Rowe she asked Mendoza to show his right arm. Entire forearm was just black and blue.

The guy has the personality of a host at DisneyLand but Mendoza is a warrior to the full extent.
