NCAAF In-Game Thread

From a ref I’m with about the Smith play:

“It is technically the rule, but not the spirit of the rule.”

i.e. He never lost control, the ball was simply moving..

The chance they cost ohio state there was 0 percent. Anybody could see that whether call was right or wrong

They run the conference. Remember 2020. People wanted nebraska thrown out of the conference for saying they wanted to play and would consider playing non big ten teams. Then Ohio st said they wanted to play, everyone shut up, and then they played.

I'm going to play the role of homer which I never do and say Miami belongs in the playoffs and if it somehow comes down to a choice between the Canes and Notre Dame the head to head win should put Miami in.

Head to head always wins.

ND would have its way with Miami right now. But head to head always trumps.

The head to head matchup should be the deciding factor when both teams have two losses but not when one team is the all mighty Notre Dame and the other is Miami.

I love that Tech just went 1,500+ miles and just destroyed an inferior opponent.

I have my questions as to what it will do in the tournament but you can't question a team that simply takes care of business.

Tech did today.
They bought quite a good team.

I feel dirty defending and not trashing one of my favorite teams but I stand by what I've been saying about Miami.

I was dumb enough to bet on the Nard today but if it's Mario and 32 degrees, what choice do you have?

In this case, it's a hard pass. My idiocy knows no boundaries.
