A few weeks I believe

Two years ago for the first one, we were out there the week before...

Everyone that works in that town hates it, for the most part. Cabs/Uber/Lyft cannot stand it for obvious reasons. Servers/bartenders/casino & restaurant workers in general hate it because their commute is now harder/longer.

I'd assume it's streamlined a bit better now but there are still the issues.

So that year we were there we stayed at GN to avoid the strip. With that being said I drove down there probably 3 times and luckily kinda figured out the best ways to avoid the closed areas.

A small inconvenience for tourists is the walkways are all blacked out going across the strip. At least in previous years. Understood why for the race but is a bummer the days before and after.
