NCAAF In-Game Thread

The entire team is disinterested.

Sans a KO return they've done nothing. Against a really mediocre team with an especially mediocre offense.

In the Tech-CU game they threw a flag for targeting. In that play there was in obvious facemask on Tech QB which they missed. They reviewed targeting and reversed the call. It’s a joke to not be able to review the facemask they missed. So you can review a targeting but not a facemask?
Not to mention they reversed the targeting, after reviewing it, which they didn’t get right either.

I thought that playoff expansion might reduce the excitement of regular season games. But I turned out to be wrong. We're going to get high-profile teams with multiple losses still playing exciting games because they'll still have a shot at making the playoffs. We're also going to find more excitement in games involving lower-profile teams because they, too, will have a chance to make the playoffs. There will be a lot more games where a team is playing the exciting role of spoiler. It is harder for teams to have their playoff chances ended, so there is more potential for excitement.

I can't get excited about the potential of seeing three loss teams in the playoffs.

Root for a TD and missed XP

Or two made FGs.

Have a no juice middle. Actually make 10 bucks either way. Lfg.

*in Buffalo game

Playoff still rewards the #5 seed. How many years until it changes where it just goes by the top 12 rankings?

I get rewarding conference champs but as we know, not all conferences are the same.

Also Wash St at #18 is laughable.
I agree.

Quite possible the two best teams already played back on Oct 12th.

The loser there slotted into 5 seed is unfortunate.

Wild end of the 1h in ECU and Tulsa.

Score was 14-3 with just under 2 mins left and Tulsa facing a 3rd and 12 at the ECU 39...

We go into the half with Tulsa leading 17-14

TD on that 3rd and 12.

Consecutive interceptions a few plays later (2nd one counted, ran back for a tuddy).

ECU then fumbles -- next play Tulsa pick lol

Tulsa has had the ball for over 2/3 of the game.

Those of your on ECU bets -- simply haven't had the ball to do the damage needed.
