Who's the first guy to put three mouthpieces hanging from his facemask? So fucking dumb

People love to hate on him.

He's a rising star.

He had some in-game issues the first two months, for sure.

But he was also spending 50% of his time building an NIL approach (his words).

Paying off now
Rising star is quite the statement and I just don't see it but he seems like a good guy and he won me a nice amount beating Ohio State so I wish him nothing but the best.

it's a sword right?

I always thought it was a sword, but then player said it was a seat belt thing which sounded even dumber.

Probably worse is offensive players flailing their arms over their heads back and forth before the point the direction they are going.

Just think it is beyond stupid for players not to wear their mouthpieces and instead choose a 'look' all while they are more susceptible to concussions and brain injury because their mouthpieces is dangling for fashion instead of in their mouth for safety. Better yet, let's have two of them not in use - oh but the color combinations...

man I must be getting old or shit kids and young adults do is getting weirder (it's both)

dislocated ankle in Texas bowl - ESPN made sure to show a close up of it before they realized

everything I see now, like the sword thing (it'll always be a sword to me), you know 100% it's some facebook or tick tock thing. much easier to overlook. it's all dumb and they're just copying each other. when we are in our 20s it's programmed in to us biologically to appeal to the group/fit in, and that usually comes at a cost of being uninspired/unoriginal. It is what it is/Supposed to be.

Was at a high school game, after the kickoff, first play, ref stopped the game because a defensive player had 2 mouth pieces and ref whistled and said player had to leave the field 'only one mouthpiece is permitted'. I had to laugh, that ref would be me.

welp no value on scary anymore now
shoulda pounded while the gettin was good
guess I'll go read or something
pray for the bears

I don't understand why one coach showing a 'substitution signal' to another coach is a taunt?

I haven't had the sound on for this game until now, so I guess I missed whatever had led up to the boiling point.

It could be said that Beamer was being condescending saying the kid took a knee…looked like a legit head shot to me. I’m sure Beamer will spin it and say he tapped an opposing player on the ass saying good job when he was down on his knees but I’m betting differently and I’m sure that is what Brett saw, then did the sub shit in his face

They have been doing slow substitutes all game long. Any time we sub they take 20 seconds and do theee different rounds in the same sub. Beamer was complaining about it to the refs all game. So it’s obviously a taunt when he does it right in front of the huddle and then on the very next play does another slow sub causing Beamer to burn a TO and that day fuck was laughing about it. They have been talking about it all game they can’t throw a penalty for delay on this? He shouldn’t even have subbed to give illini chance to sub there

They aren’t talking about it.

I rewound further and saw that. Looked like he was just giving some encouraging words to him.

Is there some kind of substitution controversy in this game?

I just don't understand why Beamer would react like that. It's not like Bert flipped him off

That's the point, to game the offense from subbing so much

Happens to every team everywhere that subs all the time
