NCAAF 19/20 Bowl Thread

Uggh, I see 75.5 over -160.

This point spread is getting crazy, total is sky rocketing also.

Glad I laid the 60 cents.

The dude rattles of player's names like they are household. I've never heard of most of them, let alone know what team they are on. Fuckin' solid!

Another fun win! Not sure if I’ll have anything else the rest of the bowl season. Will post if I decide to add anything. I’ll be sure to check back in again either way. Hope everybody has a good weekend!

Thanks for the great season CK. Question, have you posted your thoughts on the national championship? Can’t seem to find them. I know you may not bet the game but your insights are always appreciated.

I haven’t. I may share them closer to kickoff but I’m not sure I will. I’ve found that I enjoy just watching the big game without action. I haven’t really thought much about the game. I do nfl scouting through the fantasy football lens every January and that is about to consume all my discretionary football time.

Great season CK. Do you plan to post your draft/combine plays on here at all? Thanks again!
Thanks. I will prob just post them on twitter. I usually take a good chunk of year away from CTG, not because it isn’t a great site, but because I’m easily distracted and I need to put up some boundaries to help me stay focused on the things I’m working on. I get a lot of questions between those mediums and prefer they are consolidated in one space just for my own ease.

Props:

Tee Higgins Over 4.5 catches +100
Clyde Edwards-Healire Over 5.5 catches +110

Hell of a bowl SZN and helluvan overall year. Thanks for all your help CK!!!

What another great szn CK! Just out of curiosity your CLV is insane looking throughout years past! Have you ever tracked/backtested or any idea how you think your overall season results would differ if you used closing lines?

Thanks! I don't. Not a great use of my time, IMO. I know I have lots of CLV, and I know it's a good recipe for me to keep betting bad numbers and hoping the results continue to follow suit. I try not to get too introspective and start investing too much time into stuff that doesn't either a) excite me or b) put food on the table. I don't think it would be possible to hit at 60ish percent on 1,000+ plays without approaching CFB the way I do, and that's by betting GOYs, openers, and props. As long as I'm able to continue doing so, my edge should stay pretty significant. Imagine my record against closing lines would be a lot worse, but still profitable.

Wonderful answer man! And I couldn’t agree more. I was just curious if that was something you may of tracked to see how you did vs closing line. But certainly understand your approach and agree it is the best way to be the most profitable in CFB.

cant wait for next year
