NCAA Week Two

Nice picks Horn..I'm on a few of them as well. A note on Tommy Blake and Aaron Brown..I'm not sure about Brown, but last I heard it sounded like Blake would play. He returned to practice this week and it being the big Texas game, can't see him not playing in it.

I just found two quotes from Gary Patterson (dated 9/4/07)

On Tommy Blake's status:
"We don't know if he will play. He practiced Sunday, that's all I can tell you. We'll see on Saturday."

On Aaron Brown's status:
"We don't know if he'll be ready Saturday. Honestly if you ask me I'd want him ready for Air Force since it's a conference game."
 
Alabama -3 (-125) @ Vanderbilt (3 UNITS)

Bama has won 15 consecutive SEC openers 11 of them vs Vanderbilt. Bama has won 18 straight over Vanderbilt. Vanderbilt have lost 15 of their last 16 SEC openers.

Both teams opened with shitty teams in their openers and Bama looked more impressive as Richmond did move the ball quite a bit on Vanderbilt.

Bama racked up 313 rushing yards and now face a Vandy rush defense that finished 91st in rush defense.

I just can't see Saban losing this game so but I bought the hook just in case.

ND @ Penn St. -17 (5 UNITS)

Piling on like everyone else here as I can't see Clausen doing anything here in Happy Valley regardless of the 2 series he had vs the GT scrubs.

Hawaii -28 @ La Tech (5 UNITS)

Hawaii put up 61 on La Tech last year and may do the same here again. La Tech plpayed lowly Central Arkansas last week and were outdone 28-13 in first downs and gave up 386 yards.

Zac Champion the Bulldog QB was awful hitting only 12-23 for 71 yards. The game is alot closer if the Bulldogs don't force 6 turnovers.

Colt is going to have a field day.

Rj, yeah I hear ya. Alot more plays then I'm used to but alot of the lines didn't match up with what I had so I played them. Hopefully I can pull another 14-0 weekend like I did at covers 3 years ago LOL.
 
Yeah which is why I usually try to hit them as early as possible. I've hit some at -110 only to see it be -220 in a couple of hours. Crazy movements for props that have limits.

I use 2 usually thegreek or sportsbook.com.

On occasion I use bodog just because I play poker there and usually have money tied into there.

Bodog use to have the most retarded prop bets about 4 years ago. Damn near stealing candy from a baby.
 
Hey SHSUHorn. Only bet on TT last week, as they easily covered. Thinking about playing the Raiders again this week for the TT/UTEP game for over 63.5.

As usual Leach has a quick strike offense and average to poor defense.

Whaddayathink?

Unfortunately didnt get my bet in soon enough on the BC game.

Like NU at Wake and Mizzou tho too.

Staying away from my Horns again this week:(

I really like Texas Tech this year because of Harrell. He is by far the most talented QB Leach has ever had and put up some ridiculous numbers the second half of last year.

People were down on TT this year because of the loss of WRs but looking at last week I can play in that system and catch 80 balls.

Love the prop bets. Just opened an account at greek. they are giving it away. These props are crazy. Daniel -30 yd against a team that averaged 130 yds passing last yr? Holy shit thats awesome.
