Melo pretty much doomed my under with those back to back 3's to close out the 3Q...

Adding:

10/23/2013 9:05 PM NBA Preseason Basketball 666 Denver Nuggets* Over 49½ -125 vs Phoenix Suns for 2nd Half *2 UNITS*
*They managed to get to 44 shooting 29%, so even a slight improvement and they should be able to blow past this number...

Warriors played last night, and this is their final pre-season game. Plus read on SB Nation that Jackson's going to limit his starters while Stotts is going with a regular rotation.

While Golden State is coming off a back-to-back and will rest their starters, Portland head coach Terry Stotts remarked that his minutes alignment would resemble "a rotation we'll use in the regular season."

I used to give reasoning for my picks, but meh... I always felt like I might be talking someone into a pick, which is great if it hits, but not so great if it doesn't (trust me, nothing makes me feel worse than knowing I ended up costing someone their hard earned money), so now I just sort of keep my mouth shut. I'll provide my take if asked, but otherwise...

10/25/2013 8:35 PM NBA Preseason Basketball 663 Indiana Pacers* +1 -110 vs Dallas Mavericks
*Just in case Gorg asks... : ) The Mavericks beat the Pacers last week at the Fieldhouse by a score of 92-85. Ok, great... That just happened to be Indiana's first game back on US soil after their tour of Asia, a game where most everyone figured (and figured correctly) that jet lag and fatigue were going to play huge in Dallas' favour. That was also a game where the Pacers decided to rest Roy Hibbert, David West, George Hill and Paul George. Well, that's not happening again tonight (unless Frank Vogel changed his mind about treating this like a regular season game), so seeing as how Indiana's completely throttled the Mavs the past two seasons (three games, average score IND 101.3, DAL 82.6), I'm thinking there's probably a good chance of that happening again tonight. Of course, it's pre-season, so you never know, but I'll take my chances with a legitimate title contender in the Pacers against a very average to below average Mavericks team.

And as this is the final night of the pre-season, this will also be my final wager (to be honest, tonight's a bit more of a crapshoot than usual). Not sure I'm really satisfied with the results (on the one hand, I managed to go on a nice little run to end things out but, on the other hand, I also know that I got REAL lucky, more than once, with teams not fouling at the end of games). Still, just like with the actual teams, pre-season's all about finding your rhythm, so hopefully this bodes well for the regular season (and, hopefully *hint, hint* we get more than just me and SF_Capper posting picks on a regular basis).

How about SAC?
To be honest, this was the only game I even bothered to look at tonight (too much uncertainty about lineups and, quite frankly, too lazy to be bothered). If Derrick Rose plays most of the night, I think the Bulls end up crushing the Nuggets (if I could find a prop, I'd go with Brian Shaw to be the first coach fired this season - in less than a month, he's managed to cut off the balls of the NBA's most dynamic offense with his hybrid triangle bullshit), but I have no real opinion on any of the other games.

Good luck.
