shit I wasn't even aware about Avdija - wow what a disaster. Not quite SGAish with Clippers bad but horrible. Giving 2 1s and 3 2s for AD is gross incompetence as well. Dallas sure got lucky, first with Flagg and now this haul for AD. Least they have a shot at being very good in reasonable time frame.

Certainly not defending them but one the 1st is a okc pick so that ain’t gonna be great, and the other is top 20 protected. Still more than id give up for a dude who never plays but sounds little worse than it probably is in reality.

Oh that’s not the worst.

And honestly they’ve been bad for so long and can’t get anything right with lottery luck or development. Maybe sometimes just being .500 is a goal.

What are the odds ad plays enough games to put them in the middle? Something tells me he ain’t gonna be super motivated to play for wizards. probably should be listed as one of brons accomplishments getting his ass on the court a decent amount of games.
 
AD has 2 years $120m left and has the gumption to want another extension at near max. Do u think there's a GM dumb enough to give him one, Washington or otherwise?? I do. Lol

No. Dallas trades Cooper if they see a two year window of Giannis/AD/Kyrie. Not sure how else it could go. No one wants AD's contract and headache lol

It’s unbelievable what some of these guys make vs production.

I know…I can’t even imagine being in that meeting. I wonder if the owner/s are there and it’s like “hey, we might piss away a quarter of a billion but there is no one else out there”

I think owners just want to win and enjoy being fans

Not sure they care about the dollars and cents at this point

Lol it's insanely dumb. But just read espn article that said it's expected Washington will sign both Young and AD to long term deals this summer. Didn't say it would be at max however. Neither expected to play much rest of this season as Washington wants to lose and keep their high 2026 draft pick.

Yeah they have a floor and have to spend a minimum. But who u spend it on determines success or not. I think spending on AD and Young is dumb but I guess we'll see because pretty sure Washington is going that direction
