I'm really liking ATL -4.5 and Pistons -6.5

For a team thats already beaten Dallas and Phoenix at home (ATL) I think this -4.5 line is about right and based on how poorly the Wizards have looked of late I don't feel that theres any reason to play the Wizards until they make some kind of drastic step forward.

7 point Road Favs for the Stons? nasty, yes but the sonics are borderline awful and after the way Detroit was able to bounce back from that Chitown hosejob (Clippers beatdown) I'm getting the feeling they're looking at this west coast swing with some determination and will show a good effort. Its not like they'll really need to play that hard as Seattle will undoubtedly help them out with poor passing (Watson, West), bad shots (whole team) and careless turnovers (Wally, Swift, West, Watson, Wilkins)

WAS-ATL
Arenas is still hurting and hasn't been shooting the ball well, wizards are not going anywhere without him, Arenas should step up big time in order for the wizards to win. Is this the game where the wiz get their first win, pg in atlanta are not that talented defensively, can arenas dominate? i dunno. Atlanta on the other hand has been impressive at home beating both suns and mavericks, fluke? maybe maybe not, kids are playing well and outrebounding some good teams out there.... leaning hawks

MIA-NYK
still no wade, still no wins for heat? more likely. randolph is out. not interested in this game

NO-PHI
I like noh here, im not a big fan of laying chalk on the road but i might lay this one in favor of the hornets. CP3 is doing well, peja is healthy. Hornets are off a loss but that was against the mighty spurs, i see the hornets as a consistent team that can win both on the road and at home, they have a lot of weapons, defense, shooting and teamwork

HOU-CHAR
bobcats are hurting- no may and morrison, leaning towards houston but i have a capping policy of not laying more than 5 on the road. houston looks great early, bonzi wells game has been revived, although cats have a lot of weapons in g wallace, felton, okafor, jrich- cant seem to understand why they can't get it together... leaning rockets

SAS-MIL
thinking of spurs in part of an ml parlay or playing an under here

DET-SEA
poor durant, can't get help, can't get a win, and he's not going to get it against detroit. I looking at the stones here (but i really don't lay more than 5 on the road except in certain situations, this may be one).... I am also looking at the under why is so high at 198.5? will the stons run with the sonics? i doubt

LAC-CLE
mobley's loss will hurt the clips more as he has been doing a lot of the scoring. kaman and magette are doing well and are in charge of the clips surprising start. Cavs on the other hand have been on and off, can't blowout a kings team, cavs have no bench-missing varejao, hughes and marshall, although starters are doing great, this game in my opinion is still a toss up, leaning on the cavs though

hornets might be my only play... good luck fellas

Like the thoughts there guys, so far leaning Hawks as well, more thoughts from me later on. GL

I like the Sonics myself. Watched them play against the Jazz and they aren't that bad of a team. They haven't lost by more than 7 at home. Add that to the fact that DWest should be starting Sunday over Earl Watson and I'm confident the Sonics will lose at the buzzer yet again.

You don't need to run with the Sonics when their defense allows for high percentage looks time and time again. And, Durant has help (West + Green was very impressive to me versus the Jazz), he just needs time to put it all together

too true. If you allow Rip, Prince and McDyess to just catch the ball with good spacing and an open look, its over time. As the Pistons have shown so far in this young season they don't have a problem scoring alot of points. But can Seattle match Dtown's production when faced with tough D? I don't think so.

The Sonics have been playing well. They have been leading games going up until the fourth quarter only to fall apart in the end. I think the Pistons are going to be the most consistent team they have played this year, with an exeption of Utah (they have played pretty well so far). I don't see the Pistons making many mistakes, as far as turnovers and shooting percentage, or defensively. Detroit looks like a good play, although the Sonics have played well in it's home games. I'd lean Detroit.

But I do like the New Orleans Hornets and the over. These guys have been playing very well their first 4, now off a couple of losses they should regroup. Everyone is healthy so you got to like that.

I couldn't have said it better Slug. My record would be much better if they'd switch that rule around a little bit.
