What has been enjoyable for me in the first quarter is how fast Indiana's trigger pass is of the rebound. They get the outlet to mid-court so fast, it almost always turns into a 4 on 3 type advantage. I love that.

Jalen averaged 3.4-3.9 fouls per game all year.

He's gotten better but still a good bet for 2 early ones -- especially with an aggressive offensive guy like KAT on the other side.

Pace slowed quite a bit in the 2nd quarter.

I was stalking a live 1h over but lost the # early in the quarter. Then when it dropped to 108.5 I needed 29 in 5:40 minutes. No thanks.

Of course the half ended with a shitload of last 2 min points.

KAT's driving will draw fouls.

As I said in my series preview, a big key in each game is which one (or both) gets to 2 fouls quickly in the 1st quarter. This will be a theme.
