I paired the Mets with Atl and paired Mets with Det Over 7.5 in two pars
I also have parlays made up with the Yanks and M's and Mets in treys

I see a lot of cappers on Det tonite. While I like them to win the game, I not in love with the Tigs to run away with the game.The reason Cincinnati is favored here is because Buck Farmer has horrendous numbers. Farmer last made a start on July 31. Since then, he has made four appearances out of the bullpen, none of which have lasted more than 37 pitches. Two of his three starts on the season have resulted in complete disasters. Farmer comes in with an 8.39 ERA, which stands out like a sore thumb. However, that’s only over 24.2 innings.While Farmer has not enjoyed much success in his limited time in the majors, he does possess a big-league fastball and solid breaking pitches. He has put up solid ratios in the minors with an 8.9 K’s/9 rate with a decent walk rate of 2.6 BB’s/9. In his 24.2 innings this year for the Tigers, Farmer has a BB/K split of 10/15. That isn’t who Farmer is. He’s a guy that repeats his mechanics well and can locate each of his three pitches (fastball, slider, change-up) with consistency. He walked just 25 batters in 86.1 innings for Toledo this season, showing even more advanced control in many starts. Farmer is not a reliever either. He made 16 appearances for Toledo and took the ball in the first inning in all of them. Perhaps he’s trying to do too much. Perhaps he’s not trusting his stuff because he’s been shuffled back and forth from the minors to the majors and from the bullpen to the rotation. Whatever the case, the Tigers have told him he’s going to get a chance to make a bunch of starts. Farmer has the stuff to succeed. Despite the high ERA, Farmer has some downright elite numbers. He has a 63%/7%/29% groundball/line-drive/fly-ball rate over his last five appearances in the majors covering 11 innings. Overall, his groundball/line-drive/fly-ball is 53%/14%/33%. Farmer has a nice 63% first-pitch strike rate and a slightly above average 9% swing and miss rate. The surface stats say he can’t be trusted but the underlying stats say otherwise. If he’s relaxed and just pitches, he has a much better chance of thriving than it appears. The Tigers also have a better chance of thriving than the Reds but I do think the Reds hit Farmer well giving them a chance for the win At the very least, one has to give the Tigers a 50% chance or better in this one against a team that is batting .228 in August.

Hey Blood, what's up with the Cards/ Az game? I figured with the snakes coming home from a 10 day straight road trip, the Cards should handle 'em. Even after the pitching change to Chacin, the line dropped from StL -135, to -105. I don't get it...
 
Zane, The only thing I see that may be causing this deflated line is that it appears that Lynn has faltered a bit in August. I didnt load up on it just because it didnt feel like more than a one run game. Maybe a 5-4 final, maybe less

Reports out of Cincinnati were that McCarron was hitting his targets and had a great week of practice. He’ll likely be facing Tampa’s second and third stringers or a college-like defense when he steps in but that’s not what this is about.I'll take my chances
 
Cincinnati looks similar to the Rams. They're not tackling well and have nothing going on offensively. Glennon looks like a man amongst boys with the 3rd stringers.
 
Nothing like tailing the maestro! Just took Bengals -1/2. Nice 2 of 3 in 2nd half buddy! AJ actually looks good enough to beat out Dalton who I've always thought was a backup.
 
Wise, I agree with U on Dalton His ineptness and the O line was pathetic for Cinci. AJ still has that 'linebacker' mentality and thats hard to get out of a player when it just bred in, but he is a good qb

btw, I think U have a very good 'feel' and knowledge for pro football. I look forward to the coming season reading ur thoughts and making some coin. GL pard
