Monday In-Game

NOT going to be TOO pizzed. had the Capitals series to HEDGE a Penguins future. Ovechkin's Capitals FINALLY get to an Eastern Conferece Final so CONGRATES to THEM :shake:

I think out of all the sports teams in US/Canada leagues...the last city I'd want to live in is Winnipeg

he better retire in the offseason , dudes done

yeah I'm seeing a lot of fans are blaming Murray. He def gave up some goals he shouldn't have, but the defense kept putting him in pretty bad spots with the turnovers

I don't know either, which is worse Peg or Calgary?

Calgary you at least have the Rockies by you

You just have nothing worth a shit near Winnipeg

its either that or Greenbay for me

I'd throw OKC in there, moreso than GB. At least got the lake for a couple months a year there

Well it was good a run

Letang appears to suck

Letang, Malkin "Fat Phil" you can name a NUMBER of Penguins that did NOT perform. think they MISS NOT having Marc-Andre Fleury ??? he SAVED the Penguins BUTT in last years match vs the Capitals :(

Calgary is BEAUTIFUL with the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Banff one of THE best ski resorts in North America and a GREAT place to visit in the summer. used to go there a LOT when I flew for the oil company back in the late 1970's and really enjoyed it. second biggest China Town in North America after San Francisco. GREAT Chinese food and EXCELLENT Steakhouses :shake:

canadian rockies is the best LRR i agree, western canada baby

Jets down 0-1 end of 1st with SOG's even @ 10 each in the period. THREE penalties Predators. will see WHAT happens in the 2nd. Jets BLEW their azz UP in the 2nd last game :)

Calgary is a nice city, lots of oil money had been put into it, nice skyline, near some nice lakes and banff, plus the ,mountains. Edmonton is the concrete jungle stuck in the 80s, that, winnipeg, minnesota, ohio etc

Worst sports towns for an athlete to live

Also letang retire??

Hes 31, jist finished like top 15 in d man scoring this year

Issue was murray, always been a bit overrated, and the forwards

Crosby and guentzel scored more goals than the rest of the team, only 4 forwards scored vs Washington, those 2, horny and geno

Espn did an agent poll last year, about what team/city their players would have or want to have on no trade lists

Winnipeg was runaway winner
Edmonton and NYI were 2nd and 3rd
Arizona
Florida
Buffalo

After that it was just teams getting 1 vote

Colorado
Columbus
Ottawa
Calgary

You should add victoria to that

Really nice city, great downtown and bars/restaurants, tons of water stuff, can do kayaking, canoeing, pick crabs and oysters too i think. Great camping on the island too if you're into it

Plus its a really easy travel and will avoid some driving

You take ferry from vancouver to victoria, then there is another ferry from vic straight to seattle

Really all about timing. We'll see at the time what we can even do. Thanks for the suggestion though!

I would BET that IF ESPN did a list of WHERE you would WANT to PLAY, Las Vegas would be VERY high up maybe even #1. the town has just FALLEN in LOVE with the Vegas Golden Knights NHL team. IMAGINE what will HAPPEN when we get an NBA TEAM ??? it will be LOONEY TOONS!!! :shake:

Arizona? is t because the team blows ???

I find that surprising even though the "Wile E Coyotes" DO stink they COULD get BETTER starting next season. two competent goaltenders and a good corp or young players. same with Florida Panther. they do NOT get the crowds probably because of BAD ownership BUT some of THE best young offensive players in the league. I would think hillbilly Raleigh and Columbus would be ahead of those two cities in DO NO TRADE lists

well here we GO. 2-0 Predlies end of 2nd with SOG's 9-7 Jets in the period and 19-17 game. Jets need to "OPEN the GATES" in the 3rd

well THAT was a disappointment. Foreberg goal makes it 3-0 THEN Arvidsson "M-T" 4-0 with 3 minutes to GO. looks like a trip back to Music City for the Jets for game seven Thursday

It is a disservice to the Canadian towns to assume that they don't want to go there because of the city itself. Taxes are a huge deal for these players so you are going to see the Canadian towns and the New York's without "Rangers" on the front being no go places, particularly the Non-Canadian players earning in Canada.

Ya 4-0 Predators final. Rinne with 34 saves. FIRST time the Jets have been shut out these playoffs

that REALLY makes me wonder WHY the Florida Panthers would be on the "Do No Trade To" list. Florida a state with NO income tax just like Nevada

The fishbowl is a bigger factor

Nhl player in toronto, Vancouver, or montreal gets every single thing in his life scrutinised.

Media is crazy

Also the tax thing at that level of income doesnt really hurt canada, this is from 2 years ago

Obv taxes are higher there for half the season but state taxes for athletes are calculated by the state/country the event is played in, not where they live...yes they have to file a ton of state returns

game seven in thursday ? damn so long. whens the next round start ?

I would "ass"ume with a Thursday game seven in Nashville the Capitals @ Lightning game one would be Saturday with the VGK game one at either Jets or Predators Sunday
