Not a fan of juice but my boy Owings is starting to get worn out and Milwaukee -142 seems like a gimme. The D-Backs have barely seen Bush pitch before and this past month he has been able to keep the runs off the board, just two pitchers heading in different directions. Arizona 3-7 in their last 10 games @ Mil.

Texas also looks good, I don't know what the line will be but if it's not too high I will be on it. They they should end up winning tomorrow facing Komine. The A's can't win with Haren on the mound, theyre just in a world of hurt.

I have reservations about Josh Towers but career #'s not so bad vs the Yanks. I was thinking over because I wasn't too sure about a side and figured Igawa should get hit and the Yankees hitting should put 4 across.

Florida all i can say is the line looks too low, I would expect a lot of money to come in on florida with the way STL is playing and them sending out Looper.

no opinion on Pitt, don't trust either pitcher, Buchholz 1st start in about a month after coming out of the pen.
 
Giants vs. Cubs.

Linececum seems to be back pitching well. Hill stinks. Only problem is Bonds is killing so many RISP chances. Can the Giants score tomorrow and they have to travel west to east with jet lag.
 
My observation about the Cubs is, the moment you feel safe putting your money on them, they'll burn you. The Fav is 9-0 the Cubs last 9 home games. SFN is so bad I'd guess they lose 2 right out of the box, but I'd not be willing to call sweep. Cubs used up some luck Sunday, while SFN has had none their last 2 games.


LA is 17-7 to Over their last 24 games (29.1% Unders)
PHI is 23-8-1 to Over their last 32 games (25.0% Unders)
...and now they meet. I see the Over is already popular, and at only 8.0 in light of those stats, its no suprise. But with Philly making that trip from East to West, and Penny's last 4 home starts - prior to his hand probs vs ATL - being 3 Unders and an Over vs the Mets where he held NYK to 1 run, I'm leaning to Under without knowing weather or Ump factors.

Moyer is 6-3 to Under away to NL teams.

Philly is 8-1 to Under after conceding 10+ runs this season.

Also, not sure how much stock one should put into this, but Penny had an amazing first half last season (much like this year's) before imploding in the 2nd half for something like a 6 ERA.

Almost every single play I make is against the pub so I look for lines that look out of place at first. Pitt and Fla are home teams where I thought the pub would hammer the away team. After I see the pub on the other side I have to find some stats and situations that give me more reasons to play the home team. Toronto crushes lefties and I have zero faith in Igawa. Towers coming off shutout against Tribe might have his confidence back (not likey scenario so like you said over might be solid but the pub will ABSOLUTELY CRUSH that over).

Sdg might be another possibility tomorrow
 
hey renew.. florida and dodgers are the play....after sunday night ball.. look at their travel schedule... they both have to fly have way around the country... those are the biggies on my mind..and kim and penny are no sloutches either

Cards/Fish over 9 - I really liked that outburst by the Cards last night. Pujols is really going good right now. Its also good to see Duncan and Rolen warming up as well. The Marlins cranked out 9 homers in the 3 game set with the Nats. This one could likely turn into a slugfest.

Royals/Red Sox under 10.5 - BAnnister may be one of the most underrated pitchers in the AL right now. He goes out each time and gives his team a chance to win. I wouldnt dare take him in Fenway, but I think he can hold the Red Sox down enough for this to go under. Gabbard has been pitching well too. Also, neither team has seen either pitcher which should add a hidden .5-1 pt edge in the line as well.

el mago - they both look like solid plays but seems florida is already getting pounded. If the pub jumps on stl tomorrow I may take a small play on florida. moyer has pitched well v the dodgers even though they are hitting very well at the moment and are a good LHP team. didn't look at individual #'s

the fla/stl over seems like a hugely popular play. idk can't relaly argue against that play but kim I dont think is as bad as people make him out to be. Hard to create a new image for yourself though after his many late inning blunders. a lot the trends point to an over.

i am a fan of bannister but his recent games is what worries me the most. Royals are hitting over .300 last 10 games vs LHP, don't know what pitchers that consists of, didnt look but normally they aren't a very good LHP team. Under 8-3-1 in last 11 meetings between the two teams, but 10-3 over last 13 in boston. situationally boston may be ready for a bounce back after getting only 1 run yesterday and they had their opportunities early so it wasn't like they were down right dominated, they just missed run scoring opportunities.

just random thoughts.

ALSO I am seeing Dallas Braden as the SP for Oakland tomorrow, not Shane Komine

LA is 17-7 to Over their last 24 games (29.1% Unders)
PHI is 23-8-1 to Over their last 32 games (25.0% Unders)
...and now they meet. I see the Over is already popular, and at only 8.0 in light of those stats, its no suprise. But with Philly making that trip from East to West, and Penny's last 4 home starts - prior to his hand probs vs ATL - being 3 Unders and an Over vs the Mets where he held NYK to 1 run, I'm leaning to Under without knowing weather or Ump factors.

Moyer is 6-3 to Under away to NL teams.

Philly is 8-1 to Under after conceding 10+ runs this season.

rockies one of the better nat'l league teams, pirates one of the worst, and you only pay .06c on the dollar for them? i like the price of colorado versus jvb with an era nearing 6.
 
Cards/Fish over 9 just popped. I got it when it opened on Matchbook @ -105 now its @ -122. Its sitting on Pinny @ -126. Always feels good to be on the right side of these huge line moves. GL all.

this one should finish at 9.5 everywhere. Probably just public play more than "sharp money" though.
 
Took Oakland under 9.5. Sorry just woke up and a mile behind today so got to get back to the games. GL
