agree on suns...lakers coming off long road trip, spend one night off (saturday night) play at home tonight and then head to phoenix for a game with the suns...looks like a romp

c's looked good tonight...hustle,good offense and better d but its a lot easier to win a game when you have one guy on the other team trying to win it all by himself....sure would like to get 7 as the rox can simply out talent them

some interest in the mavs....maybe

yeah i probably wont be playing the celtics based on the b2b record alone... but that'll keep me off the rockets

me too....they looked pretty good in the two games i have watched them...george is really really good and their d is consistent...if it gets to 7 i will probably be on indy

lal have one of the most brutal schedules coming that i have looked at....they are in the beginning (6 games in) of 21 out of 29 on the road where they hopscotch all over 3 time zones...koby sitting tonight....man he is a tough bastard...but that may help them, not sure....regardless i will be on the suns tonight as they cannot possibly be a lazy as the pistons were last night....they should be docked for taking the night off....and the suns have no problem keeping the pedal down against the lakers so i can see a 2nd half runaway for the suns....but that's what i thought about the pistons last night

maybe mem but have to figure out how they are going to handle okc defensively....if they commit to taking away westbrook's game then i think they can hang...i'll read mem papers and see if i can glean anything there...any thoughts?

c's may be a little spent tonight after a big defensive effort against the talented incompetent thunder yesterday....don't expect harden to be as easy to defend as westbrook was yesterday....he's bigger and better and howard will clog up the middle taking isaiah's game away from him...the contrarian opinion would be that the c's can run 10 guys at you that are young and all pretty good so they may not be as tired i am imagining....just can't see them playing as effectively again tonight....line has gone in c's favor which is a little mystifying....probably rox or no play for me....there may be a halftime opportunity that knocks the line to a pickem and if so i will be on the rox at that time

not sure why dall intrigues me....maybe because it's philly

Last 2 years Boston b-b is 14-4 ATS
I am still looking at the Laker game but it is hard to ignore Lakers at Suns through 2012 have 1 cover

Lakers have 3 days off after this game and no one played long minutes last night. Randle 30.39 minutes. Do not see this team as really tired. The 3 refs last year for 10 or greater favorites were 2-6, 3-7 and 4-4.
I am not clear that it matters but the Suns have a real look ahead to Bulls. The next 8 games are all very tough with the possible exception of 2 with NO. The Suns have covered every game they have won this season. Lean to Suns but still thinking.
The truth is the Suns win vs the Kings was a bs win as well with Kings b-b in 3 in 4 and no big man
What it does show is a desire to win by large numbers though. Suns SMALL

Boston TT over 101 is a great investment. Rockets have no defense, always give up 100+

reading up on the griz and there appears to be be no real commitment to defense...i think they are allowing like 103 or maybe it was 102 but regardless they won yesterday by outscoring minn and seemed satisfied with that by their post game comments....westbrook was pissed after avery and smart kept him to 25% shooting yesterday by hammering the shit out of him....lmao...so he may break out tonight....may give the over a shot and hope westbrook actually dishes out a few assists

The Bulls line looks pretty strong to me. Think this will be the most entertaining game of the evening.

As someone that's already been burnt multiple times this season by the Grizzlies, it's not a lack of commitment, it's the inability of the roster to adapt to the new realities of the NBA: small ball, guard centric play rule the roost now. Z-Slow and Gasol are kind of useless against teams that don't rely heavily on big men, and driving hard into the paint is becoming a thing of the past. Plus, they can't even dictate the pace and get into grind it out type games because they can't score (nothing new there), nor can they stop anyone anymore. Here's a good quote from an article I read which pretty much sums it up:

Randolph, 34, has moved at glacial speed as a help defender behind the Memphis pick-and-roll defense. This gives Gasol a little less confidence to move out of the goalie box in the lane, which in turn puts pressure on Conley guarding the ball. Strung together as a chain, and that's how a top-10 defense sinks to the bottom of the league.

http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/14095335/memphis-grizzlies-rocky-start-season

As someone who grew up watching the Bad Boys, it's sad to see that style of basketball fading away (which makes me wonder what the hell Sam Hinkie thinks he's doing), but ride or collide as the kids like to say...

Over in Spurs would normally be easy. Lilliard is having trouble feeling his fingers and that is a real problem

There is a general trend that the Lakers show up and cover in the first half of a b-b road game. It showed up in the Orlando game. Today?

Regarding Spurs v Blazers...

Double-digit away dogs playing with same-season revenge for a previous home dog loss are 89-63-3 ATS the past 3 years.

9-1 ATS last 10.

Indicates a play on Portland.

Game logs disagree. Portland is 4-3 last 7 with the Spurs. Last 20 they have covered in every win but when they lose they have never covered. That goes through 2012,
The last 5 all went over and over is 14-6 but their offense is more limited right now

Boston over does make sense with triple revenge supporting the play.
The 0-3 under in all 3 road games is a problem

It may just be me but the problem that bothers me about playing the Spurs is they still want to conserve energy with this extended streak of no 2 days off It will all be obvious tomorrow.

How is it even possible for an NBA offense to be this pathetic? Just pay the Turks whatever they want and get Saric over here already...
