Monday 04/14/14 NBA discussion thread

The jazz have let the lakers come back and have life. Instead of taking the jazz ATS I took their TT over 27, 54, 109.5... I think the 2h goes over
 
GS playing 4th in 5 nights with travel in between each game. I'll take a stab with the timberwolves

If Dragic was healthy they would give SAS a much better series than Memphis.

Who will probably just get swept and haven't competed vs. them well in several years.

Memphis SAS is just bad for business, lol.
 
Dragic virtually ineffective, but this game is a good one for these guys to experience

I'm not so sure.
 
I think not making the playoffs is better for them long term.

They should try to draft Gordon if possible. Would be a great big to throw into that rotation.

Also, obviously should look into trading Bledsoe.
 
Yeah. Suns will be better for it in the long run. I personally think SA would have abused them.

You think Memphis SAS is interesting? SAS is better than last year and Memphis is not as good.

They just lost vs. the Spurs backups by 20+.

Suns have been pretty competitive vs. them and at least it would give us some offense.

Not interested in watching this matchup once again. Spurs always get such bland 1st round match ups.
 
Don't know how it will play out with protection but 4 1st rounders at some point, think they won't get a couple of them next year but don't feel like researching

The picks will do wonders for a team that has had a great season but runs several fringe NBA talent guys out there pretty often
 
Looks like they will have Indiana's and Washington's along with their own, and I trust the new GM to make a couple moves

Regular season means little.

Grizz a playoff team, will be a competitive series unlike last season.

Mike Miller is a huge add, laugh at me if you wish.
 
Bledsoe's got a ton of value. They should package him to get a 2 guard like Gary Harris, etc.

Sign Pau too.
 
Dragic woulda been worthless in the postseason as well, glad they didn't make some stupid trade for Pau. If they get him in the offseason then so be it.

There's just little to base that on. They weren't competitive last year in this spot. Haven't competed this year vs. them. I like Lee and i think the team is coming on at the right time. But they have struggled dot com vs. the West the last month or so and their run was more about scheduling than anything else.

I won't be laying DD's with Spurs at home though in that series. Or anything close to that. Hope Grizz compete.

The fact Grizz will go into this potential series with no pressure as everyone expects them to lose. Last season most folks though they would actually win vs SA after knocking off both OKC and the Clips, they'll definitely be better for it this time around. Change of coach helps as well.

Agree with much of that and hope for a good series.
 
Think I'm seeing things OK for these final few nights. What do the teams want to do? What do they need?

Thunder needed tonight but when I locked in -8 Tyreke was supposed to be OUT. He went on to drop 41. Guy is unstoppable at times.

Sixers, Cats ML, Rocks & ML, Warriors all came through. Thunder shat the bed and now can't rest Durant in the finale.
