Golden State is in an interesting situation. They are off 4 losses the same as Toronto. After Toronto they face Kings and Houston 2 teams that have them on a sweep this season.

Off topic but I heard some fairly harsh things about the Lakers tonight. Last 20 as a fav they are 14-6. Better then Houston, Clippers, OKC or Atlanta. I believe Denver, Spurs and Miami are better but no one else.

Atlanta hasn't suffered a 9+ pt loss in 6 games.

- They have only 2 streaks longer this season (8 & 12 games), and only 3 other streaks longer than 3 games (all being 4 games in length).

- Each of those longer streaks comprised of more than 50% home fixtures (8 = 5 homies, 12 = 7 homies). This current streak features 5 of the 6 games being on the road (if they don't lose by 9+ pts to Denver, it'll be the first time any such streak this season has featured more than 5 road fixtures).

- 4 of those 5 x 4+ game streaks ended with a road fixture (66% of Atlanta's 9+ pt losses this season have come on the road).

Further, Atlanta has gone 7 games without a 9+ pt loss on the road. BC, Hawks simply play very good basketball right now. I was sure they will be the dark horse of the East this season and still believe it should be the case.
The entire roster, Horford aside (and Williams), finish their contracts in the summer. They will play for their next contracts and play hard.
Furthermore, Smith wants max contract and he needs to show himself. The Josh Smith saga made this team very bad place to be in. Any moment each of them could have been gone to another team. After trade deadline passed, they realized that this is the unit that will run till the end of the season and started playing.
Not saying you are wrong. They can get a very heavy beating tonight, but can't see any value in Denver at the moment.

Denver of a huge emotional win against Thunder and in a perfect fade spot. If it wasn't for B2B, would have been on the Hawks for sure. Not to mention that Hawks are 9 - 5 ATS in B2B spots, while Denver 4 - 6 ATS in 2 days rest spot.

Locked in Nuggets -9 and i went large despite my previous comment. Atlanta is playing its last game of a east to west roadie..if atlanta had already not won 3 games on this trip i probably would make this a smaller play.... ive had this game circled since august so I'm gonna go with it. Partly worried that the nuggets might have a letdown after the big okc win but hopefully that doesnt last for too long.
