Atlanta is a mess right now and aside from Freddie Freeman they don’t have much at the plate to give Niese any trouble and as such I like the Pirates should win comfortably at home.Niese hasn’t been great, but if anything is going to make him pitch better, it’s going to be throwing against the anemic offense of the Braves.

tuck,Niese has won more games than he has lost, but he hasn’t looked pretty doing it. His ERA is approaching six and he’s had more unimpressive starts than starts to be proud of. In six of his seven starts, he’s giving up three or more runs, and has given up four, five, and six runs, over three of his last four starts. Still, the Pirates have given him great run support, and he’s managed to win three games while only losing two. He’s certainly not a strikeout pitcher as he only has 29 over seven starts, barely more than four a game. Looking at Perez,he has made four starts for the Braves and has got better in each subsequent start. In his latest, he went eight strong innings, giving up only two hits and one run. He struck out four and didn’t walk a batter, in winning his first game of the year. It can’t be easy pitching for the worst team in the National League, but that hasn’t seemed to affect him thus far. If only I could depend on my Braves to hit, I would certainly be on the them.

954 Philadelphia Phillies* +124 vs Miami Marlins x half ... Eickhoff has a K/BB ratio of 36/8 which is amazingly impressive, and like Conley, I think the future is bright for him. Put that with a very hot, very impressive Phillie tm @ ++ $$ i cant turn that dwn.




955 Boston Red Sox* -121 vs Kansas City Royals x2 ...I dont know if U have noticed but this isnt t the same KC team that won it all last year. Their offense looks much weaker and so is their starting pitching. Boston can score runs in bunches. Porcello is off to an excellent start this year and he always pitches good in May, while Ventura does not and he also doesn’t have good numbers vs the Red Sox in his career. I will continue to ride the SOX

958 Toronto Blue Jays* -1 +114 vs Tampa Bay Rays x2 .... Happ has a 1.61 ERA in his last three starts, while Smyly has a 5.62 ERA in his last three starts. Happ is clearly in better for here and the jays are the better overall team.


960 Detroit Tigers* -1 -109 vs Minnesota Twins x2....Zimmermann has a 1.66 ERA in three home starts at Comerica Park so I think he will shut the Twins down

Manaea carries a bloated 11.37 ERA with a 2.05 WHIP across three starts and 12.2 innings for an 0-1 record. On Tuesday, Manaea was destroyed for eight runs in 2.2 innings against the Red Sox.Holland over his seven starts and 3-2 record thus far, as he’s contributed a 6.09 ERA with a 1.56 WHIP in 34 innings. On Tuesday in his last outing, Holland gave up four earned on eight hits in just 2.1 innings against the White Sox. I think Tex is the better tm overall. Oakland has been allowing a ton of runs lately. I think Texas takes this one in a high scoring affair.

Those that know me know I try to fine some good reason to make a play every game. I have exhausted my resources on this game and see no reason to play either side or total

967 Los Angeles Angels/Los Angeles Dodgers* Over 7 -135 x1... Shoemaker has gone four innings or less in four of his six starts this year and things aren’t looking good for him. Having an ERA above nine is hardly inspiring. Maeda has been winless in his last three starts but he hasn’t pitched badly in them. The Dodgers are a bit more consistent and should be able to get the win at home to open this series.
