Just taking a stab on bases tonight, maybe shouldn't, we'll see how it goes. Just a small bet.


Atl at Nats, -150, and Stl -134 for the 1st 5 innings at Reds, 2 team parlay risk 100 to win 191.04

Who the fuck knows with bases, but figured I have good pitchers vs 2 teams that can't hit for shit, so okay.

Appears I shouldn't have though, damn, 2 run homer by the Reds, that figures damn it. Ha ha, it just never fails, I have a good pitcher going against a bumfuck offense and he just blows up on me. Nats look good, but that doesn't do shit for me now.
 
Better take a look at these later games, sure it will go according to plan then ha, not! I took the simple approach tonight good pitcher bad hitting teams, not much capping. Well every time I try to get crafty with bases it doesn't work. Guess nothing ever works for me on these. I had such a great start to the year too, man, those days are long gone now.
 
Well I just know it's over, I get behind on a baseball game, and I can just forget about it. The Cards I only have 5 innings too, so I'm really screwed. Comebacks never happen in bases for me, there are a bunch of times my team blows a big lead, but I never get that luck for my team.
 
Ha 2-0 and I am defeated, well I just know how it goes with bases. If I'm behind 2-0 early, it may as well be 10-0, fucking forget it about.
 
Oh here we go John Danks and the Chi Sox are a big dog at home, yeah I better take that haha, Danks was so good for me earlier in the year, ummm no. Gotta see what that bum has been doing lately.

The Rangers don't ever win 2 in a row, so decided to go with this one. Guess do have to win by 2, but that shouldn't be a problem. Lewis is terrible. Santiago is normally okay, but he really fucked me earlier this season when I bet him. He was awful for me, whoa. He has been good lately though, except in his last start, that wasn't good.
 
Yes here we go, the Cards got a rally brewing in the 4th. 2 guys on only 1 out. Need a big hit here, by Molina. Damn it, sac fly, that won't work.
 
Way to go Taveras quality at bat there for the Cards haha. He fucking took 3 strikes in a row. What the hell? What kind of a big pussy doesn't swing on 3 strikes right down the pipe.

Well I'm screwed now, Leake with a hit to score one, Reds 3-1, got one inning left need 2 to tie, good luck on that. Wong made a kick ass play though to save another run, he is due up I believe then the pitcher Wacha, hope Wacha can swing the bat, not sure on that.
 
Yep, parlay is a loser. Cozart just made a helluva play to end it at short. Fuck he was looking like me and shit, haha no way I woulda made that play. I did play shortstop though, I was pretty good, kind of I guess in the field. At the plate though, if anybody threw me any breaking stuff, then uh oh, I'm going down usually. Would always wait for the heat.
 
Yeah I was in the majors ha, that is kind of what that sounded like, no. More like umm, high school, and I got cut off that eventually.
 
I always wonder about guys on these kind of forums that claim they played in the pros in whatever sport. Always think they are bullshitting, when I read that. I'm sure though maybe somebody did on here, play pro sports.
 
Shit out of the gambling forums this is the best one. They don't get so uptight on here about everything, fucking covers you get booted for nothing. Everybody is boring as shit too, I don't like reading any of em. Guess my posts are usually just garbage, fucking drunk rambling about nothing. I entertain myself though, and that is all that matters ha.

This looks like a sleeper to me. Cashner is very good, and the Padres can't hit anybody, so even though Hernandez isn't great he should do fine. Vin Scully may fall asleep in the booth ha. I do like listening to his fucking stories though during the game. I mean I don't know how he knows all that shit about those guys. He will just be like, well ya know he is from the Dominican Republic, one of 10 kids, and his dad used to work in the sugar cane fields there, and his mom worked various jobs just to get by, they lived in a small lean to there in the Dominican, all the 10 kids barely had anything to eat. Then he just goes on and on, he must just research all the players non stop.

San Fran I'm just taking them cuz Arizona is terrible, and they are on the road tonight. Looks like a loss for Zona there probably. The Houston at Seattle game has 2 good pitchers. I remember early in the year I spotted that Mchugh for Houston, shit I saw him pitch, and was like damn, he has something working. Should have stuck with him all year looks like. Well on the unders, not Houston to win, cuz they blow hitting wise.
 
Shit Colby Lewis throws a gem, haha, go figure, I thought if Santiago pitched well I would win for sure. That is how it goes for me in MLB though. Some dumb ass bitch twirls a gem. Still got time though, got a guy on and nobody out, time to get the cash.

What I was talking about earlier, I am gonna make a show called the freight trainingest tornadoes haha, I don't hear it as much though anymore from people about it sounded like a freight train when their home gets destroyed. What the hell is a freight train anyway, I know about trains, but they all look the same to me.

Didn't see the play, and glad they left it alone for you...but, you do need to be in contact with the bag at all times when you're sliding into the bag, or whatever. You'll see a lot of guys keep their glove, with the ball, on a runner simply hoping they catch the runner being completely off the bag.

Yeah I hear ya lareux, but I mean when your sliding over the base it is different I think, but maybe not. I mean I understand if you over slide the base yes, but if you slide in, and then your body comes off a bit on the slide I don't think you should be out, ha, I don't know if that makes sense what I'm saying, but your body when you slide in can't be always in contact, when you hit the base. Guess I don't know it is a tough call.
 
I just mean if you don't have contact with the base the whole time when your sliding over it, think you should be safe. Over sliding and off the base yes, your out.
 
Anyway Angels blew it open, bang, bang, 5-1, so we're good there.

San Fran is up too, and the Pads Dodgers game is a sleeper so far. Looking good boys, looking good.

I mean there is always a time, normally, not saying always, but a time when your body may not be contacting the base. Again not talking about over sliding the base, then your out fo sho.
 
Fuck Cashner just line a double on my ass. That isn't looking great now. Well trusting Hernandez was a mistake. Should have just put the Pads in my parlay, oh well. Hopefully he can settle down, and get these bums out. Padres, those are bums fo sho.

It's hard to imagine someone not being in contact the whole time when they are sliding over the base, unless they are levitating or something...like they're in the Matrix or something...lol. In any event, you need to be in contact with the bag at all times, so if someone somehow did pull a Matrix, he would be out. I'm gonna have to look and see if I can find the play now, you've got me interested in seeing it.

I kind of come up with some crazy shit though lareux, I always question everything, anybody says anything is the truth or is rock solid I think well wait a minute here haha.

I get when you're sliding feet first, but when your front leg comes up, either your other leg, or your butt or something is in contact with the bag. If it's not, and the guy has his glove on you, you're out (if the ump sees that, of course). I do understand what you're saying though, or I'm visualizing it well I guess I should say.

Not sure how it happens sliding head first though...that's where levitation comes into play....lol.
 
Ha okay lareux, I mean I don't think it is that out of the question as far as head first either, it happens where a guy slides in head first and his body is out of contact with the bag for a bit when he hit the bag before the tag. I like these conversations though haha, it is fun to talk about anyway. Fuck I'm sure the umpires have no idea about this crap, fucking unlikely there. Fuck I'm way more into this than them, and way more intelligent.
