well the odds are really low and the Angels have a lot of talent so I won't touch that, was actually leaning the other side despite Beckett's monster numbers.
That under could be shakey if you think Beckett could get beat...The only way the Bosox lose is if he is off. The Angels pitcher could throw a 2 hitter or get shelled...Dont have confidence in him to play the under, he could spoil it by himself, may play team total over for boston.
well I don't think either of them will get shelled, why not a low scoring win for either teams, 1-3 either way, or something like that? I agree with what SN said, that pitchers will dominate this one. GL Trout
You guys ever seen this site on the weather channel, it outlines in what weather that teams do their best..just another tool to use add to the analysis of our games...
I'll pass on the early game, but will be rooting for my Angels though
My bet of the day are LA Dodgers - gonna be all over them big time while Cards and Marlins are my other 2 favs (medium stakes). Hopefully we're gonna have a good and profitable day...
The way Brad Penny has been throwing lately is just phenomenal. Some would say beyond reality. Boasting a 0.68 ERA after 2 starts is practically unheard of for a SP, and whilst both teams have started the season on a positive note, a huge pitching mismatch has to get anyone thinking about an edge the Dodgers have tonight.
Penny is 5-2 with a 2.11 ERA in 11 career starts versus Arizona - his second-best ERA versus any opponent. Even though the Snakes weren't as confident last season, they still have a similar lineup, Penny should do well against.
This isn't only a Penny coattail, the D-Backs will send out Edgar Gonzalez (1-0, 4.50) who can be prone to allowing too many hits once he's out of his groove, he's a typical SO pitcher and that's not the best idea against a deep Dodger blue lineup.
7 units is the call.
