Back from Utah and it was really great. Went to Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park. Got a hotel room in a glass dome at a place called Clear Skies in Bryce. Stared at the stars all night lying in bed. Great food and drinks as well as star gazing tours at night. I highly recommend it. Hiking isn't my thing as I'm fucking old but the wife loves it so we walked around Zion. She booked a 3 hour horse tour of Bryce called the PeekaBoo trail ride. We can ride but holy shit that was scary going down into the canyon on a very winding trail about two feet wide and a horse that wanted to end it all so he kept walking right on the edge of a couple thousand foot drop. Breathtaking area but you can't look at anything because you are sure this is your last day on earth so you have your eyes closed tight the whole way. Seriously, do this but you do need to know how to ride a little or if you can't ride you have a major death wish. Keep in mind you need to rent a car because both areas are at least two hours from either Salt Lake City or Las Vegas. Or you could just fly into Las Vegas grab a drink in a sportsbook and say fuck all this walking shit.
