MLB In-Game Thread

Cy Young ace Paul Skenes last two home starts, yesterday and last Tuesday, drew 11,500 and 9,000 fans to the park. Good lord.

Last year they averaged about 18k a game and that was with a miserable start. The year before when Skenes was a rookie they averaged 21k.

I understand April weeknights can be dicey but we're talking the CY Young winner on a warm night. I also understand this is a front runner town and an event town. Would think this would have fit the criteria though.

Looking at the MLB reference I guess the same thing happened last year. Skenes 1st home start in April drew 8k on a Tuesday. His second drew 10k on a Monday.
