MLB In-Game Thread

Jacked up! Never could keep my head in it last year with everything going on in my life. Ready to dive back in head 1st now!!

Lot of changes, the pirates actually look like a legit contender to win the central imo, crazy times! 😂 like the additions they made. Pitching staff could be really good and the offense has to be better, love bringing in Lowe and o’hearn, if they lucky enough to get good Ozuna (or if not but Conner griffen pops) think they win central. I don’t usually play win totals but I think they go over. I will take a shot on them at +600 to win central.

Small play on DR to win the wbc but will do more with wbc after I see some group play. just like the DR price with all the talent they have.

Probably my favorite time of year with mlb getting close and conf tourneys bout to jump off!

either way he be up by June. No clue why they would wait unless it one those stupid things to do with years of control? I think he could add juice but I like the team with or without him.

Havnt looked at pens yet, plan on doing that sometime in next week or 2. that the one area I’m not so sure bout them but like the starters a lot and think the offense should be significantly better. Not saying it a great lineup but certainly doesn’t look like the worst offense in baseball like they were last year. I think if they can be middle the pack in run production they will have a shot in central (don’t think that a unreasonable expectation), assuming the pen isn’t god awful and blowing games left and right!

It's ok. You know one of my coolest moments in life I've mentioned on here was 2013 getting to shag fly balls for team USA on Friday and Saturday nights at Chase Field. Mom and ex were there for Fri night and we stayed for the game against Mexico. Sat night I got the priv of hanging out with Rene Lachman while taking throws and even caught a knuckler from GMaddux that he said no chance....fun shit. Didn't stay for that game against Italy due to other things but it was cool. As a volunteer it was weird that they said "don't talk to the talent unless they talk to you lol" Coolest part was Mauer shagging fly balls in left center. We couldn't pocket balls but he said I'm going up there and hitting one to you, pocket that. He did and I did.

Some really cool dudes that were just having fun and more importantly wanted everyone around them to have a good time.

It's pretty cool that Fox is putting all of these games on. The atmosphere in San Juan is insane for that game tonight.
 
I'm actually interested in how many Brazilian soccer scrubs feature for Japan in the World Cup after this clearly disturbing trade that's happened for the WBC
 
As for the tournament itself, I don't pay much attention to it. Cute exhibition thing

Pretty sure it's the only tournament where Puerto Rico and the US aren't on the same team but would be stupid to not understand the logistics of it
 
San Juan group could have major weather impacts

Really nothing else out there since all other venues are basically indoors

Wind was blowing in like crazy earlier in PR
