MLB 2026 team win totals

Let‘s Respect Each Other‘s Opinions
First off, I think there will be more scoring this year than last based on this new strike/ball challenge system. If you haven't heard each team gets two challenges per game and if they are right, they keep on challenging. (Just what we fucking need more sports challenges) Any way, and I have been trying to think of how to say this right, there will be more called strikes overturned and changed to balls because there are a ton more of those than there are called balls that should have been called strikes. This will result in extended at bats and actually more walks when the ump goes into his act and theatrically calls the batter out when the pitch was way off. More of that means more runners and more runners means more runs. How many more? Who knows? Just more. Totals will eventually be higher when the books catch up.

Team win totals.

LA over 103 1/2
Toronto over 88 1/2
St Louis over 69 1/2
Wash over 65 1/2

These are in order of how I like them with LA over being best then Toronto over. The last two are throw in because their numbers are very low.

I am flagging Wiseplayer because he always asks me what I like every year. GL

Exactly B.A.R. Of course, they promise it will only take 15 seconds to execute but there are so many disputed calls if the challenge is upheld the game will go longer. GL

Love this! Great timing too. I’ll be looking this over. GL!
I hadn't heard about the new challenge system.

Seems counterproductive to shortening games with the pitch clock ;)
1 umpire just missed 5 calls in 1 inning. They’re ruining this game with all these reviews and delays

not the biggest supporter of challenges in all sports but I’m not against the challenging balls/strikes. I rather they just had a robot calling them the entire game but suppose this better than watching these numb nuts screw them up all the time. From the little bit of spring I have watched it seems like a really fast process, imo just proves out my desire they let robots call game! Is there actually data that suggest they call more balls as strikes than the opposite? Maybe it just my perception cause I bet so many pitcher props but feel like I’m often annoyed at not getting called strikes on clear strikes!

I don’t really play win totals just cause it kills me tying up money on -110 wagers, feel like I can make better use of the money day to day. Jay’s would def be one I looked at if I did. Pirates be another. Like the price on pirates to win the nl central.

@Wiretowire dont disagree at all with the cards. Toronto does seem low, but that division should beat itself up, barring injuries.

@2daBank pitt has really impressed me with their offseason moves. They got some really good additions and could really be competitive outside when skenes goes.

I think miami and tampa made some good moves, for them. But tampa gets the designation of being in a brutal division. If miami can stay agressive on the bases and their backend of the rotation can have some success, they can eclipse last years totals.

I think the A's also have a big opportunitu for improvement. Im not really a season win total guy, but its good to be talking about bases again.

Yea I love the moves pirates made, I think the starters be really good, like adding Lowe and o’hearn. Who knows what Ozuna they get? If they get the good Ozuna or that kid pops I think the offense goes from worst in baseball to at least respectable. That should be enough for them to compete for central. Not sure about their pen, plan on getting to pens sometime next week.

Kinda like A’s also, lot of young talent.

That for sure gotta be concern with anyone in Al east, everyone is pretty good in that div.

Thanks Wise. I can't see how this doesn't slow things down some in the long run. GL

Thanks Aplous. I looked at the Tigers over as well. Should be. GL

Thanks Bank. Don't know about hard data but I see more strikes called that should have been balls. I think. GL

Thanks Slim. All good points. GL

Thanks Vapster. I looked at Oak as well. They were on my short list. GL

Thanks Cash. All is well. Still travelling a lot. Boxes work great. GL

Thanks Double. You guys are talking me into Oak over. Not a hard chore to convince me. GL

These are some of my favorite low risk lottery ticket MLB futures ....

Plan on doing a few of these switching the Reds and Pirates...

Also will do all 6 divisions using the Mariners , with a wheel of the big 3 in the NL East .

I know (As a fan) The A's had an awesome 2nd half of the season (After All-Star)

Which I believe builds momentum towards the next season.

What are some other teams that had a great (Better) 2nd half than first?!

Hmmm I can't remember stuff to well from last MLB season but found this ...
Do remember the Yankees struggling in August thou. Might have went 14-14 down the final stretch .

What are your thoughts on the Guardians this season ???

Cleveland is the same to OAK as they both had great 2nd halfs.

Big difference is Cleveland great pitching no hitting. OAK has the hitting not the pitching.

The question of over/under is how well you think they do in their division this season.

How about the NEW Underdog... Chicago White Sox?! Looking at the Central no one is really scary good.

They won 19 more games in 2025 than 2024, and are rebuilding, yes...

I saw Over 65.5 now 67.5...

Think the Guardians got a lot of luck last season with the Tigers choking massively down the stretch ...

Looking at Cleveland's lineup they're probably going to need 2+ of their prospects to produce to match last year's Cinderella regular season finish ..Ingle, Valera and DeLauter are possibly the big 3 heading in imo
