Right, but in the previous posts, we were talking about the last time Maryland played in the Military Bowl (against another C-USA opponent where Maryland won the game 51-20), and the question of what the spread was in that game came up. It was only a few posts above the one you commented on, wouldn't have taken much effort at all.

Should be a good game. I think this is one of the more intriguing matchups from a capping perspective. I had a lot of fun analyzing this one....

went with umd +3 -115 and TT over 30.5 -110


from everything ive read, both teams have motivation and both teams should be able to move the ball vs each other... smells like a game that will be decided in the last couple minutes, good weather too and i have more confidence in maryland putting up points vs the marshall D than vice versa

I'm sticking with what I've said from the start: If Maryland can run the ball, they will win this game. And I think Maryland will be able to run today because Marshall is giving up 160 rushing yards per game and they got gashed for 5 yards per carry in their last 2 games (against 2 of the best teams they faced all year). I also like the angle of Marshall coming off of a conference championship loss in a game they should have won. Not sure how Marshall gets up for this game. As for Maryland, I've read that they are pretty excited to be here, and the added dimension of being so close to campus should give them a reason to fight tonight.

Either way, this should be a pretty close game throughout.

Maryland isnt the type of team that can recover from a 2nd and long. Penalty killed them.
