Is this where Mex can do something here. Canada looked awful....Thinking of laying the -1.5 EV

mentioned to braves, this is an in game betting type match. Mexico is not worth the price, but Canada is also very shit. I would not lay money on Mexico because they are playing poorly. Rule of thumb, play a side because you know they are way better and are form, not playing a side for the sake of fading someone.

Mexico is playing with, what is essentially, their B squad this tourney. As someone else pointed out in the other thread though, Canada brought a very young team that lacks scoring potential. Mexico looked pretty awful in their first game, it was even brought up on the telecast that their coach may be fired after the game (he wasn't though).

If you're going to bet Mexico, I would maybe take the -1,-1.5 line. If Mexico wins by 1 goal, you basically lose half of your bet as opposed to the whole nut if you simply bet the -1.5 line. Currently, I'm seeing the -1,-1.5 line at -115 and the -1.5 line at +118.

No, there should be a -1,-1.5 line listed for the game. You don't have to make 2 separate wagers, when you bet the -1,-1.5 line they do it for you, by putting half of your wager on each -1 and -1.5.

You are not betting the ML and then the -1.5. You are betting -1 and -1.5.

Well if he doesn't offer it, then I guess you can't bet it that way. I guess you could do the -300 and -1.5+100 if you wanted but if they draw you'll lose more money than you would playing the -1,-1.5 line.

Not a bad idea imo. I was surprised to see the over juiced in this game, with Canada's lack of ability to score and Mexico's defense being their stronger suit. We shall see I guess but the under is a pretty good idea me thinks.

The best side, of course. The American side of the Falls is a complete 180 from the Canadian side. I love the Canadian side, there's so much to do. It's also just so much cleaner and nicer looking.

Couldn't agree more. My youth was walking up and down Clifton Hill and doing shit there. I'm from NOTL tho.

My wife is from Canada, her mom lives in Ft. Erie so we are up there quite a bit. Don't make it to the Falls as often as we probably should, but I always have a good time in Canada. I would like to get my Canadian citizenship, but I hear it's kinda hard to do as far as getting approved. It should help that my wife is Canadian, but we shall see.

Is NOTL Niagara on the Lake? Probably my favorite spot up in the Falls. It's absolutely gorgeous!!
 
Yep NOTL is Niagara On The Lake. Grew up 4 blocks from Downtown. The Old Water Tower in town that is torn down now was my back yard. Love it there.

Screamers ftw. Had so much fun back in the day up there (Canada) between the bars in which we could legally drink at 19, to the traveling casino they had in Ft. Erie and Niagara Falls, to Clifton Hill.

Obviously, the traveling casino was well before Casino Niagara and Fallsview. lol
 
There are also so many beautiful golf courses up in Canada. The Ocean sand in the bunkers is fantastic! Whirlpool is always rated the #1 public course in the WNY/So Ontario area every year when the Buffalo News ranks the area courses. There have been many new courses that have opened up in recent years in WNY, but Whirlpool is still one of the nicest imo.

Yeah, I'm dating myself a bit with the traveling casino. It would travel around to a different spot each week. The Doghouse (I think that's the name) was one spot. There was one above one of the bingo halls on the Garrison (I love that it's called "the" Garrison). Ft. Erie racetrack was another spot. The hockey arena a little north of Ft. Erie (I think it's the Leisureplex) hosted it, and there was a spot or two in the Falls as well.
 
Gators, I'm sure you know this and have been many times, but Happy Jacks is quite possibly the best Chinese food you can find anywhere around here. Some like Ming Tai, which is right next door to Happy Jacks, but for my money Happy Jacks is the way to go....they have the best egg rolls I've ever had in my life by far.
 
Got my only Hole in One at Whirlpool. Hole 14 where your back is to the road and you go over the small pond. I moved to Florida when I was 12 so I used to go back once school was out for 2 months staying at my Uncles. We used to play Whirlpool 3 times a week after 5pm for $15.

NOTL golf course is the oldest Golf Course in North America. Fun little course. You ever play Peninsula Lakes? Beautiful 27 golf course. We had free passes the one day and we were getting done 17 and it looked like it was going to start pouring. Well everyone on the course left and it didn't rain so we ended playing all 27.

I used to play at Leisure Plex. I remember when we were young it was the coolest rink ever because it had a McDonalds

I have not played at Pen Lakes, but have heard exactly what you just said about it. Also haven't played the course in NOTL. I have played at Niagara Falls CC a couple of times. They always have 2 for 1 deals for some of the Canadian courses in the local paper, so we try to take advantage of them when we can (much different now with crossing the border though and some guys don't have a passport/enhanced license to get over).

The McDonald's was/is certainly one of the best things about the Plex.

Oh, and how could I forget curling? We have been so many times to Niagara Falls to curl....it's so much fun and you gain an appreciation for how good the Olympians are in curling. What a great time curling is!

We've also done the duck pin bowling (5 pin), and that's a blast as well. It took a few minutes to get used to the scoring, since you get 3 shots a frame if you need it, but it was fun nonetheless.
 
can't watch this shit fuck, anyone who's on the under should be licking their chops. This is the type of game that makes people hate the game.
