I feel bad rooting against my country due to my disgust with the Rangers involved but whatever. Would have been nice to clinch my Canada to go further bet but I still plan on winning that one.

You're not alone , several Rangers fans at the bar echo your disgust with organization.

Canada might cruise now .. Do you plan on betting then vs Finland ?
 
Eddie O is great for hockey. Whoever said something about these guys and interviews was spot on....they are like interviewing a boulder. Thing is I'm sure I'd be that way too but it doesn't make for good tv. Emotionless is both a blessing and a curse. When you win, it's amazing.

I still can't get over this 3 on 3 nonsense to decide these games. I think its stupid in the NHL regular season but thats a long season and they aren't dumb enough to try it in the playoffs.
 
3 on 3 on a sheet of ice that big tilts the scales in such lopsided fashion it strips away what a team like Sweden did the first 60 minutes.

Small lean on Slovakia+2.5 at plus money .

I would have challenged the goal that tied it.

You have 14 SOG...nothing is happening.

The 3 on 3 overtime is a Canada win anyways.

That was worth a chance at losing a replay imo.
 
Poor Saros just got peppered this period. He's the only reason this game was even close.
