• Red Sox -1½ -115 ...E-Rod on the mound today and is 4-0 already this season. He had 19 wins in 2019 which was third in the majors behind Verlander and Cole and was also top 10 in terms of ERA. After taking 2020 off he is back to old form, and the Red Sox bats are consistently backing him up. They average nearly 6 runs a game and are 4-0 on the runline in E-Rod starts. The Sox also facing Jordan Lyles who has an ERA that is pushing 7 and is coming off a rough start against LAA where he only lasted 2.2 inn and gave up 7 runs / 10 hits. It'll be tough for him vs a BOS team that leads the majors in hits and has the third highest average (Rangers are 18th). They are also second in OPS while Texas is all the way down at 22nd in the MLB. Boston has the 4th most runs scored while the rangers are 20th. Not only is E-Rod on fire, but the Red Sox pitching staff as a whole has been on fire as of late as well with a 1.04 ERA over the last 3 games which is second in the majors over that span. The TEX staff meanwhile has given up the most hits in the majors (239) and been responcible for 16 losses...3rd worse
• Mets +105 ...Walker has owned this Phillies lineup in his career, with a .136 batting average against and 17 strikeouts in 49 career at bats. It has been the opposite for the Phillies Zack Wheeler, who has allowed a .319 average in 100 at bats against the Mets lineup. NYM bullpen has also gotten better as the year has gone on, and have a 2.25 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and .194 batting average against over the last 7 days. Despite a 3-6 record on the road to start the season, I like the Mets in this one.

Thanks for the well wishes guys, it really means a lot. I had a procedure this past TUE and will be starting a miserable treatment problem in about 10 days. Reds FF ...I was leaning Reds ML, but their bullpen scares me. 2nd worst in MLB. If the Pirates win I think it’s after Mahle comes out. Mahle has looked mostly good this year and he can most likely handle the Pirates. Looking at Mahle’s starts this year, the F5 ML was 4-1-1, with the only loss going against Cueto when he held them to 3 hits over 5 2/3. Keller wont do that to this lineup. Reds F5ML feels pretty safe to me, but I did see Red F5 -1.5 at +195 and I kind of like that value. Reds covered that in 4 of his 6 outings this year and the two that didn’t were the aforementioned loss to Cueto and the recent Cubs loss, which felt like wind aided home run derby. Settled for the ML and standard FF RL, but that alt line still intrigues me a bit

ROYOS FF -125 ...Start by fading the worst team in baseball(Tigs).. 2nd; KC as a team has a history with Boyd and in 194 total ABs they have 65 hits as a team vs the lefty. That's a .335 avg. and good enough numbers for me to trust the slumping Royals to pick it back up. On the other side its not as big of a sample size but the Tigers hit Brady Singer for .188 avg. in a total 48 ABs. Singer pitched against the Tigs on 04/24/21 and went 7 strong innings with 8 K's. Gimmie KC FF to back up the earlier ML play so bullpen BS that happens late wont hurt as bad.

Yankees RL ...Cole is the projected starter and he's been fantastic as of late going 4-1 with a 1.61 ERA this season. With a quality start here, the Bronx Bombers should have little trouble clinching the series as well as covering the stick today.

Phillies -105 ...It's become more and more commonly hard to beat teams 3 times in a row/sweep teams, but I don't buy that metric for this matchup. Phillies are just flat out playing better baseball. Eflin has pitched 45 innings and has struck out 42 batters walking only 2 in that span. Corbin on the other hand has been not so great partly because of his huge blowup against the Diamondbacks but also because the Nationals just aren't playing great defense right now. In 4 of Corbin's last 5 games started, he has sported a DD ERA. Best part is Realmuto and Gregorius are listed as 'day to day' and by grabbing the value early, I am hoping one or both are ruled in to strengthen this play even further. At almost even money, I'm backing the better team and the better starter. I can't back a team thats on a 4 game losing streak that can't seem to get it together. I don't buy the "they're due" argument, they will probably be able to get back on track with the D-backs following this loss.
