Are starting to become my second favorite team (not that it means to much).
Not because I've banged some pretty hot chicks who all seemed to be able to cook their ass off from the state, Britney Spears, DJ Augustine, hopefully kick off Perriloux from the team or that they take always care of my gambling habit at the riverboat casinos either.
They are probably having one of their best years recruiting the state of Texas in a very, very long time after the committment of ATH Dexter Pratt today.
DE Michael Brockers and if he committs S Craig Loston (complete badass) were never going to come to Texas. ATHs Russell Shepard and Dexter Pratt were offered by Texas at different position they didn't want to play. Les I'm sure told them what they wanted to hear but by sophmore year they'll be playing the positions they were originally offered by Texas. RB Hasan Lipscomb is Shepard's teammate but a Katrina holdover so he is likely going to LSU as well.
The real big battle will be for the #2 player in the country Jamarcus Mcfarland.
Texas has cleaned house this year instate and pretty much has since the Michigan Rose Bowl game (OU did grab a couple of studs last year) but with the talent so deep A&M and especially OU got theirs.
Right now Stoops is having one of his worst years in the state since his MNC in 2000 and the Sherminator who was supposed to bring his NFL style is recruiting worse then Fran did so far. Les is doing a great job of recruiting right now.
Point being of this thread is this a huge swing for recruiting in the state of Texas.
If they can't or won't join us then get the hell out of the conference to not hurt us.
LSU is definitley taking advantage of their recent MNC.
