LIV Golf 2026...

Rahm n Bryson tied at -19.

Fourth round tonight.

Actually worth a watch with the two big names dueling.

No wonder he's doing those incredibly puke-worthy Kalshi ads involving betting on aliens. The desperation was clear.

Fwiw,

Who knows what's actually going on.

That guy speaking of what's happening in his spaces last night isn't one to just start throwing rumors around from what I've seen of him over the years...

And yeah, this could explain Bryson's mood...

I was assuming the Phil situation was a wife or kid medical issue from reading the tea leaves. He had been pretty quiet on the YT front for awhile, so that made sense.

I'm sensing some wishcasting.....perhaps from the high of Rory winning back-to-back Masters and the crap performance from Bryson.

I doubt it will be sudden, but it wouldn't surprise me if they finish out the season on LIV and then close up shop. Curious to what the PGA Tour will do at that point

This is the line of thinking I'm gravitating to as well.

Bingo.

The tour can't let Bryson come right back and frankly he won't care.

Who else is left? Gooch? Has he done anything this season? I know the one guy retired. Jacko?

I'd assume Cam Smith fades into the sunset...

Poulter, Westwood and Sergio can also fade away...

Now the interesting part: what does the PGA Tour do? I'm assuming Bryson, Rahm, DJ, and maybe Cam Smith will get similar deals as Koepka as multiple time winners and major champions. But what about some of the other guys? Leishman, Niemann, etc? Or the young guys like Puig, La Sasso, even Matt Wolff? This is fascinating to me

My guess is the Tour will be assholes about it now that they can do it without fear of backlash or retribution. All the wistful lamenting about how great it would be to have all the world's best players together for more than just four times a year will be put on hold at least until 2028 while they go for blood.

PGA won the battle and should play tough for a few weeks and then allow all these guys back for the 27 season. Maybe even later this year. Hell, hold them to an aggressive schedule in 27 if they want to return - almost every event. Ratings would be wild.
