Let's talk pennant races...

Cubs had basically the same exact same team next season, I think maybe minus Fowler who really set the table, but the Cubs were primed to win more than one WS with rookie contracts but they all underperformed after 2016. Russell's legal problems weren't there the season after 2016 yet

I mean, they lost in the NLCS to a way better Dodgers team in 2017. That series wasn't even close. Dodgers won 104 games that year, the Cubs won 92.

Magic # for Detroit is 5.

Piece of cake. Kc finished w Braves who need the wins and they can’t score. Twins will drop at least 2-3 more their last 5., tigers just spilt these next 2 with rays and they prob only have to win 2 of 3 against one the worst teams in history! The stars have aligned pal, I think tigers getting in a foregone conclusion! What I think the important thing for them is to get the 2nd spot which I think means avoiding Houston and playing o’s? Tigers can take the o’s, they have taken 2 series off them the past month, they prob not beating the Stros who are the most playoff tested team in the AL by a mile. Just avoid Stros and the fun could go on for weeks!

Sounds like the weather is going to put even tonights game in jeopardy. God forbid they’ll need to do a doubleheader on Monday. I think the only way this is going is playing on Monday or at least that’s I’m praying for since I’m on vacation needing a game!! This is getting interesting because Arizona is involved which calls for these games to be played.

Yes but my point was Cubs had youth in place for lineup. Still had Arrieta, Lester and Hendricks. Bullpen didn't have Chapman but his departure didn't mean much. Hitters were swinging for fence instead of making contact. Cubs, like every season suffer when win blows in.

Twins lost in extra innings!

Tigers magic # is now ONE!

Need Baltimore to lose out and KC once plus a sweep of CWS and I might spend consecutive nights in Detroit next week!

Hey, as bettors we'll use this to our advantage.

That being said, this isn't fair for the teams at all. Not just these two but the opponents as well.

Fans lose out too.

This could have been averted.

not the first time either. cubs got fucked by this a handful of years ago.

when you have rizzo, bryant, schwarber, and baez in the lineup, you're going to strike out a ton. Arrieta was gone after the 17 season and that turned out to be a good thing.

Can Milwaukee win the NL. Some pretty sweet odds for both NL & WS. All because the overrated Doyers is what people are expecting. Doyers would shock me if they won the NL with the pitching they have and Mickey Mouse D they play.

Let's talk about how shitty the playoffs schedule is. Two afternoon games tomorrow and Wednesday? Are you fucking kidding me?
