why in tha fuck is okie lite now a pick?

from -4 open offshore to a pick now? it was -2.5 3 hours ago. why such a big late move now wit 4 hours till gametime?
 
Kinda thought that the line was off from the get go. I thought Pk or Ducks -1.

Okie got the line love b/c everyone has been blowing the Big 12 all year. Gundy's boys have looked great at times, but I love the Quack tonight.

Their rushing attack of late has been dynamite and I think it continues. I played the ML anyway, so the line change is no biggie.

Side note, not totally relevant, but 1 conference always goes 6-1, 7-0 in bowl play.........Pac 10 already 3-0 and I think they are that conference this year.
 
i'm trying to figure out the same shit. its at -1.5 at my book right now, but seen it lower than that. it was 3 earlier this morning. public is on okie st, but i see most of the forums on the ducks.
 
he dont know shit either. me an him talked. all he said was "i duno but its not square money"

gotta be somethin out there instead of jus massive massive amounts on them. its dropped 2.5 points today since noon. there has to be some kinda reason

the ACC is already 5-0 so far, and you got Maryland playing in an hour.

If they cover tonight, it will push me over on my Ore St. lean against Pitt. can't seem to pull the trigger on it.

In all seriousness, it's Walters who came in on Oregon. That's the reason for the move.

I like his side the more I look at it. Thought not nearly as entertaining to not get plus-money on the ML or take any reasonable points.

I am still 3-to-1 bets on Okie Light for the time being, so I'm staying 1.
 
this is one of the hardest bowl games for me to cap.

leaning on The Ducks just cuz how they finished the season and because they have a way better Defense.

LOve the cowboys Offense and Coach Gundy. Cowboys had a great season just couldnt beat the big dogs.

whoever I choose Its gonna be a small bet cuz you can make a case for either team.

leanin ducks just cuz they have a better defense.

I assume you are talking ATS, Im talking SU.

NC, Miami, and NC State SU losers......Wake and FSU being the other 2 that have played, so 5-0 ATS, but only 2-3 SU.


Zona had a nice win and Cal looked good w/ the exception of Nate Bonershore.



Im sure the whole conference thing doesnt mean much, but I do think that the Pac 10 and ACC was slightly better than it looked all year, and some other conferences vice versa.
 
Okie Lite will use the same game plan as they did against OU. Load up the box and force Oregon to the air. Okie Lite did a pretty good job against OU's rushing game, but Bradford just shredded OSU through the air. Can Oregon do the same? I like OSU's offense a lot and think they will score in the 30s-40s. Kendall Hunter is the best RB you've never heard of. Everyone knows what Dez can do. It should be a fun one.
 
OKlahoma State's schedule will have them better prepared in this game than Oregon, who is getting a lot of love after blowing out Oregon State...I like the Cowboys in this one

IMO when capping these bowl games the only thing Im looking at for past results for the most part is the last 3-4 games.

These teams are so different now than at the start of the year (injuries/new guys playing, schemes, strategies).
 
If Ok St. focused the majority of their bowl preparations on stopping the zone read, they will be will win this game. Their DC layed the blueprint on how to stop Mizzou, by taking away the throwing alleys. If they take away the running lanes like they took away the throwing alleys against Mizzou, they win this game big. Challenge the Oregon 12th string QB throw the ball.
 
thanks rexy, me an kyle were thinkin it had walters all over tha move. jus wasnt sure an i didnt understand why tha move started at 2.5 or so an not where it opened at 4.
 
lol rex sorry he works at one of the biggest casinos in vegas. i mean its no costa rica

regardless, he told me about 2 line moves this bowl season where the same guys came in betting the same games, said same dudes on oregon.. one was ND and other was WVU so depending on what u got it was 2-0. take it for what its worth. all he said was lots of big guys coming in laying it on oregon

i personally liked okie st and prolly still gonna take em
 
Well, Pinnacle just flipped the favorite. That's got some of the CR bookmakers in a semi state of shock.

Walters took 3 and only 3. Anyone else taking Oregon is just following his lead - but by not getting his number, they are getting nothing near the best of it.

Though, no place in Vegas will take what a reputable spot down here will, money-wise. Surely by now you know that.
 
i had Oklahoma State -5 when i made this line, and all this movement is making me want to play the Cowboys more and more. I think the OU final score wasn't representative of what happened on the field, i watched them take a few punches and still almost beat us on our own turf, and Oregon is coming off a big win most people at least saw the score of because everyone was going nuts that USC wouldn't be in the Rose Bowl. Gun to my head i'm playing Okie State, but i'd rather play the over and even that is not as appealing so i think i'm going to sit it out.
 
For what it's worth, I've seen a few Ducks fans Downtown and only one Poke fan.

This one is tough to cap. Pick a side and go with it. Think it'll look alot like the Purdue vs. Oregon game earlier in the year. Field is also pretty chewed up after 2 gaems in a week so I'm not all that thrilled with an over bet either.
 
Ok - thanks. That guy has quite a story. And, based upon the posts here, he is still active. With all that success, I guess it is good to be on the same side as he is most days.
 
So according to the article I just read on Walters it looks like this is a play on Oregon to get the run on Oregon started, only for him to come in and HAMMER Okie Lite for as much as he possibly can. Just like the Wisconsin/Purdue bball game back in '84
 
Nope, cigs... this is his side. He took 3 and only 3. He is filled up. The people who get his stuff secondary sometimes bet it at the worse numbers - they still have the respect of being either a beard for Walters or a follower who wins (despite getting the worst of it).... so the books move off those guys too. There are legions of them.

Does the Big 12 trend continue? Weak D in big spots....Minnesota should have enough offense to cover the 8 eh?
 
I would love to keep backing Pac 10, but I cant touch Orgy State without the Rodgers brothers.

These games today are nasty.
