Why would they get rid of a proven coach to get an unknown? It is Loomis though, so who knows? He would be the type to get rid of SP to shift the blame for these 7-9 8-8 years as we burn Brees away...

Bree’s is on his last legs, a rebuild is on the way. Why have the highest paid coach when you a rebuilding? Move him and get something for him is probably the reason
