The NFC is now 1-8-2 ATS as SB favorites since 1995 with the 2010 Packers the only team to cover.

Let's get this out there once and for all. Kyle Shanahan should be an OC not a HC. Three chances (2016, 2019, 2023) and no victories. As OC for the Falcons his team led from early in the 2nd quarter until 1:25 left in the 4th quarter-loss. In 2019 his team held a 10 point lead heading into the 4th quarter and got Mahomes to throw an INT with 12:05 remaining in the game-loss. Last night they led 4 separate times including a 3 point lead with 1:57 to go in regulation-loss.

You get very few chances in life to do something great and it was there for Shanahan and he came up empty again. He has had more chances than most people ever get to win the SB and has found a way to wrestle defeat from the jaws of victory.

And if you think I'm full of shit ask yourself this - which team was better prepared on what to do in OT last night with the new rule in place???

The problem is I'm too abrasive for many posters here. You have to be loud to get the attention of the "staring at their phone zombies" that inhabit this planet now. I'm trying to relay facts based on years of experience and when I see something that is clearly wrong I point it out. You dont handicap successfully by making excuses why the team you had lost. You figure out why you were wrong and try to correct it. It's hard to do that and be Mr. Nice Guy at the same time because people are so biased in their reasoning.

I will say this. I'm almost sorry I read that writeup from the guy posting the niners as his game of the year but when I read it, I couldn't believe the misinformation he posted. Almost all of it was total bias and nothing concrete yet nobody challenged it. It's more of that "participation trophy" thinking that has also permeated our society.

San Fran needs to establish their running game to set up the pass. KC can throw anytime in any situation. Kansas City holds the edge in coaching, the QB position and in the kicking department.

I will also make some in game wagers as the games progresses but nowhere near as many as Hunt does!

Whatever's transpired in the past in other sports forums, I have no context of. Part of the reason I stay away from certain sports forums is because it's always those sports that somehow bring out the worst in people. I have my reasonings as to why, but I'll leave it there.

Either way, I went back and read it all, every point you made was spot on, it was almost as if you were scripting it. That much should at the very least be acknowledged.

That's just it. He's not a better coach. In fact I'll go as far as to say the 49ers right now are the 1990-1993 Buffalo Bills in the NFC. I wouldn't be surprised to see them in next years SB and lose to the Bills.:tiphat:
