KJ Playoffs Round 1

Thx Met, BOL to you as well.

Would really like to see some Grant props but no dice to this point and doubt I will, bummer.

2559 Butler o7.5 FTs made -130

Well that triple double prop flew in my face, shoulda waited there.

Guess I don't mind the points prop for the beard ProV, guessing that OKC will do their best to contain everyone else and possibly let him get his...remember teams doing that to Nash back in the D'Antoni days as well in the playoffs. So sure.

2569 Harden o30.5 pts +105

Thx Met, BOL to you today as well.

Terrible, terrible game a couple days ago, think this has bounce back written all over it.

2719 DeRozan o24.5 pts -125 3*
2755 DeRozan o7.5 FTs made -130 1.5*
2727 DeRozan o8.5 reb/ast -110

Kinda sucks because I kinda do want to see the Bucks win, enjoyable to watch and that Toronto future seems to be quite the failure only 3 games in.

This one is sure to screw me again....

507 1h Warriors tt o56 -115 4*
508 1h Blazers tt o54 -115 2*

Haven't been getting 1Q team totals but have em today, so why not? I do expect the Blazers to come out and light it up early at home but hope the Dubs can take control by halftime.

507 1q Warriors tt o29 -115 2*
508 1q Blazers tt o27.5 -115 2*

They're gonna get me with this juice but I'm not getting of this derailed train at this point just to watch it hit. Better show up tonight Klay, I've looked dumb enough already.

2889 Klay Thompson o21.5 pts -160 4*
2905 Klay Thompson o2.5 3ptrs made -185

Didn't even see a second of the game tonight, prolly for the best. Not a fan of much on Sunday. Sadly I'll probably go for a couple Klay props next game too.

514 1h Bulls +1 -115

Not as extreme as Cavs game but kinda the same...

Blazers came out red-hot...obviously...Curry and Klay really struggled all half...2nd half started and lead was 15-17 then Klay got hot along with Curry and their defense took over...

JaVale made big contributions again...

Curry dagger late...

Was gonna avoid this one but plenty of ways it can play out for it to stay under

509 Cavs/Pacers u214 -110

Prop time for this Rox game

2991 Harden to record triple double +400
2983 Harden o10.5 FTs made -130 4* (this might only take 4 fouls the way it's been going)
2965 Gordon o14.5 pts -105
2959 Harden o32.5 pts +100 2*
2963 Lou o14.5 pts -150 2*
2961 Harden o16.5 reb/ast 4*

Obviously think the Rockets show up in a big way today and finish this one out in 5 now. Not the biggest fan of the only Beverly prop due to the distraction after last game but would have added that too...number is just a bit higher than I'd like (22.5 pts/reb/ast) so holding off there. Please tell me I'm seeing this one right.

Hoping for the bounce back here

3029 Butler o24.5 pts -120 3*
3031 Butler o12.5 reb/ast -110

Fuggit

3054 Butler to record triple double +1200 .25*
3033 Wade o17.5 pts -130 2*

3092 Hayward to record triple double +1600 .1*
3070 G Hill o17.5 pts +115
3066 Hayward o24.5 pts +115 2*
3076 J Johnson o14.5 pts +130 1.5*
3068 Hayward o12.5 reb/ast +170 2*

Felt like I had food poisoning when I heard about it

4/24

2535 Giannis o22.5 pts -125 3*
2545 DeRozan o26.5 pts -120 2*
2561 DeRozan o8.5 FTs made +105
2543 Monroe o22.5 pts/reb +140
2541 Maker o12.5 pts/reb/ast -125
2597 Beal o2.5 3ptrs made -120 2*
2577 Beal o22.5 pts -125
2651 Thompson o3.5 3ptrs made +110
2627 Thompson o20.5 pts -145

805 Memphis series +500 .5* (2-2)

Will probably take them again if they lose tomorrow for half that wager, think they can hang tough til the bitter end

Tito, Met, thx...looks like it coulda been worse to this point.

521 1q Warriors/Blazers o57 -120 2.5*
521 1q Warriors tt o30 -115 2*

It's gonna be a public play I'm sure and already have the series bet but gonna jump on board regardless, I want the 3.5

4/25

707 Jazz +3.5 -115

Going into both of these tonight with the 1h/2h chase in mind...and now that BC has dropped his knowledge I better go before the line moves in San Antonio...1h in Houston was 115 last night and down to 114.5 this morning, was hoping it would go the other way but of course the elimination game people are always going to be out there for good reason, shoulda known that.

Tomorrow, just taking the 1h under with the odd start time, can't ever remember a weekday playoff game starting at 2pm out West.

4/25

705 1h Thunder/Rockets u114.5 -105 2*
703 1h Grizz/Spurs u95.5 -110 2*

4/26

709 1h Hawks/Wiz u100.5 -110 2*

You talking about the 6 pm start tomorrow night in Washington?

Yeah, I knew it was 3pm after seeing it yesterday, thought that was off but games are showing 2pm and 4:30 at my site. Intent remains the same, again that's my least favorite series to bet and really figured 1h unders were where I'd start anyway other than the Beal props. It could certainly fly in my face.

Thanks Biff, don't know that I'll go too crazy with props as we closer to the end of these series, Klay kinda burned me at the end of the night last night.

The start times are 6pm and 8:30 pm eastern.

They had to wait for GSW game to be over to decide whether using two networks, is my guess. Since both games are in eastern timezone, this is only choice to show both 'full'. It happens over the years...

Couple of examples, although they could have pushed the central games back to 9:30 as well...

And here is your trivia bud...

I might be missing something since but I doubt it...

When was the last WEEKDAY afternoon playoff game and why?

Hint: 1991

Not sure but I'll take a stab: Laker home game moved to daytime due to curfew from Rodney King riots.

Good educated guess there.

* They did move a Clippers-Jazz 1st round game that year to Anaheim due to the riots though.

* Edit...they moved a Lakers-Blazers 1st round game to Thomas and Mack.

Oh yeah...light bulb just clicked on in my head. Do remember that now...that was a good trivia question.

Both were on Sundays...

The answer though Horses is Thursday May 9th, 1991

Detroit @ Boston Game 2

They played Game 1 on Tuesday at Boston Garden. The Penguins and Bruins already had the building for Thursday night. It was either play B2B Wednesday night or Thursday afternoon at 1pm. Both teams were mash units but the home team decided that Thursday afternoon was better getting an ailing Larry Bird ready.

This was the infamous 'pigeon' game.

Lakers may have enjoyed their unexpected trip to the desert a little too much...

Oh...I would have never got that May 9th game. Good stuff!
