Yep lost 36.3 units Thursday, fuck Europa...and fuck Arsenal. Spent far too much time looking into these games to deal with that.

Porto favored for good reason but a point here at home and Besiktas are damn near guaranteed to move on. Porto kinda need to go for the win assuming Leipzig win and that should open this puppy up. Early Porto goal makes 1-0 a real possibility but I'm going against that, think the Turks strike early and hopefully often. A point in this one wouldn't suck for them.

Spartak need 3 points here in a group I thought they had a real chance to get out of. Draw won't cut it and game in Russia, against Slovenians this should be fireworks....Spartak can't afford to sit back and just hope something happens. They need the win and hope Sevilla can take points from Pool.

Fuck it every game gets its own post. It's Taco Tuesday.

Spurs have put Real Madrid in this position, hell they've just been the better team. But Real can still win the group with some help and need to absolutely do work and bulk up the goal differential if they want to have a chance. This is the game they either do or just settle for 2nd. No reason to lay back here, I expect RM to go balls to the wall.

Monaco aren't right, just a shell of last year's semifinal team...hell they lost the whole team for the most part. And Leipzig are very good, just kinda new to this but need the 3 points desperately. Much the better squad on paper and will know the result in Turkey before the match. If Porto only get point or less, this should be fun....a win and buncha goals will put RasenBallsport Leipzig in the hunt to move on after the next match. Leggo Red Bull!

Mirror last post, Dortmund aren't right. Spurs are. Dortmund matches end up with a ton of goals. Spurs can score them at an alarming clip. No reason to go on a side here.

Napoli deserve better but they may well be focused on league at this point, very improbable they move on in CL and if Shakhtar get a point here, they're guaranteed to move on. Seems reasonable to play for the draw.

Interesting futures, all still kinda up in the air but Spurs to not win would be tragic at this point, just need a point at home against APOEL, obviously that likely. Atletico need the result today at Roma...not easy but very much a possibility and I don't even know how to refer to that Sevilla game. One match left at Maribor and that won't be easy of course, and Pool at home to Spartak...jfc anything can happen there. Crazy that Seville have given up 11 goals in group stage, not expected.

Before I go on to the others, this one gets it's own post...Arsenal are one of 5 teams in the Premier League competing for 2-5 for CL next season and currently sitting in 6th. It's now time to expect them to hammer this competition, it's their path into CL next year regardless of league results and they quite frankly are the class...a win today puts them through as a 1 seed into the knockouts and they catch Cologne who basically are skating on thin ice in Bundesliga to even stay up...kinda scary asking for goals in this one but I expect a throttling and will pay for it if Arse let Koln just sit back and can't do shit...big one for me.

Let's face it, normally wouldn't go as crazy on Europa as I did but holidays bring it out. That doesn't excuse the unbelievably wrong calls on Arsenal and Hoffenheim, likely would have been large plays regardless the day of the year, just incorrect. That was a very costly incorrect parlay and can't figure it out, especially Arsenal which had every reason to show up and flat lined. Head scratcher there. Sporting Braga goal less than a minute in, just gotta laugh about that one...figured Hoffenheim class would show, completely got away late in that one. Red card in the 97th minute tells the story, didn't watch it but I get it.

I'll be watching Basel tonight and not quite sure how this one will go, even with a defeat they are most likely qualified as Man Utd should win at home. Same result as CSKA and Basel advance
 
My gut says Benfica win at home, CSKA lose so Basel result doesn't matter and they are qualified anyway.

But I'll just be watching and cheering for the swiss team
