Voice of Reason
I don’t have much to talk bout yet just wanted to get thread up after not posting yesterday, just got busy and didn’t have time to mess w card. Just 1st glance/few thoughts

Jays getting plus money tempting but Philly has hit Gausman pretty hard, it been a few years since he pitched against them, mostly same guys but hard to say If they still pick up his ball the same way? I do think Philly good for at least 2-3 runs off him but I expect jays to hit Sanchez a little as well. Could be an over, maybe I can talk myself into Toronto, not sure.

Small lean to fish, neither team playing well but think we getting the way more talented pitcher at plus money, I’ll prob entertain Cabrera k prop also. Asking him to get 5k’s isn’t a big ask, outside a weird 3 game stretch he has punched 5+ in his other 7 starts.

Do we continue playing overs in the Red Sox/yanks games now that they have moved to Fenway? My initial thought is yes but are yanks gonna score another 5 off crochet? Seems hard to believe, usually when a good pitcher gets b2b starts vs a team if he gets hit hard in one I generally expect a better showing the next, but at 8.5 what happens when pens get involved ? I def lean over but it feels almost to easy considering last weeks outcomes and how many runs both pitchers gave up.

Think the price is def right to back rays, little worried rays hot streak came off back of some bad teams, they just lost 2 of 3 to a ok Red Sox team and now they stepping up further in class against Mets but I do like Taj even tho he mysteriously cant get the marlins out. just think +140 the right play,

gotta look at Gavin Williams props in Seattle and I’d prob back cle for the right price.

Interested in Webb k’s but not gonna do any work on tonight.

Will def get some plays up during day after I’ve actually capped card.

That jays/philly total getting bet down and I’m just not sure I buy it. Sanchez has been really good but let’s be real about the teams he has faced, pirates twice, rox, mil, cle, atl and snakes who blew him up, that was his 1st start so not holding that against him but the rest his starts have come against a bunch the worst lhp hitting teams in the league. I’m not saying jays crush him but they coming in as one the hottest hitting teams in the league and a top 5 offense vs lhp. I don’t think it crazy to think at the very least jays can get his pitch count up and put 2-3 runs before he goes 6. Nothing against Guasman but I’ve seen him have some out of nowhere ugly starts and if he ever gonna have one I’d think this matchup in this bsndbox as good a place as any. Either pitcher could give up more but even if they both go 5+ giving up 3 that leaves plenty of pens in a hitter friendly park to get a few runs. I dunno, 8 just feels low even tho they both good pitchers I don’t think these the best matchups for them against good offenses in a hitter park.

Took the NRFI today with Skenes to get it started. Will be involved with the Braves somehow.

Horton has not been good in 1st innings but against pirates maybe it won’t matter? I think all 5 his starts he has allowed at least 1 run, that counting games against cws, Rockies, fish, Nats, not exactly high powered offenses.

My bad. Rockies didn’t score in 1st so 4 of 5.

I don’t love laying the half run Ff real often but milw ff -.5 -115 feels cheap considering how good Freddy p been at home, how bad Fedde been vs Milw, and it could just be cardinals true colors shining thru going 3-8 so far this month.

Price on jays never came back up as I was hoping it would. At +103 I think I rather take my chances with over 8. Gausman scares me considering Phillies have hit him pretty hard, the fact he basically a fastball/splitter 2 pitch pitcher, and Phillies are a very good fastball hitting team with several guys with big slug numbers vs the splitter this year in limited chances. I’d think they sit dead red and spit on anything that starts low. Unless Guasman location is pinpoint I think he will give up some hard contact. Ranger Suarez been fantastic every game other than his 1st start of year, it only been 7 games and as mentioned above he has faced a bunch of lineups near the bottom the league against lhp. Jays far and away the best lhp lineup he will have faced and they also been one the hottest hitting teams in baseball the last 2 weeks. I think either put he could get knocked around for 3-5 runs and don’t think either will be able to get thru 6 innings.

I could get behind playing both pitchers under their outs total, love Suarez under 18.5 outs but -175 pretty pricy. Guasman under 17.5 outs +130 has a better ring to it but Ranger a nice parlay partner.

Jays/philly ov 8 -110

Guasman un17.5 outs +130

Looking for someone to match Suarez under his outs with. Or if you can take his down to 17.5 for plus money im
Good with that also.

NRFI came in. Just taking the Braves straight up on the ML and that’s it for today.

Good call. Can’t believe it 0-0 in freaking 8th. Skenes just can’t get any damn support. Not a run off Cade Horton? Skenes gonna end up with an uglier record than Degrom one those years he won the cy young and Mets never game him any support.

Actually looking hard at Crochet for tonight. Will end up on either strikeouts or outs, maybe both.

Been watching since you've followed

He burns out in the fifth inning....loses velo at an insane pace. Do you watch that?

Not sure what you meant here KJ, but I took him in the race to three strikeouts and his outs prop. Just missed his SO prop by one, which was a bit unlucky.

Remind me in case I forget but I'm pretty strong on this opinion. Not sure I stay awake long enough to put it together tonight.
