Joe Johnson will miss Tuesday's game against the Nuggets and Wednesday's date with the Knicks due to his calf injury.
Johnson missed the Hawks’ Sunday night loss in Sacramento, ending his NBA-best consecutive regular season games played streak at 376. Hawks coach Mike Woodson also said Johnson won’t play in Wednesday’s game against the Knicks and might also miss Friday’s game against the Grizzlies in Memphis. Hopefully you reserved him this week. "My hope is that he’ll be ready to go in time for the [Memphis] game," Woodson said after the Hawks’ shootaround practice Tuesday morning. "But we’re not going to rush him at all. We can’t afford to do anything else."
