just curious. i just have a cute little excel dealio setup.
 
I use excell, but only to reconcile what I'm up/down for each week so I know what to give/collect from my local. If you don't mind sharing yours Mags, pm me please.

I keep a detailed spreadsheet of all wagers, who played, the odds, how much I wagered, and the win/loss. I have a different file for each sport and it's separated by seasons. For NBA, I separate it by month. I have all sorts of columns totaled, and various items such as weekends vs weekdays can be compared easily.

I know a lot of folks use actual pen and paper notebooks.

Either works, but if you ever get audited, it's better to have more info than less.
 
I have an excel worksheet per sport. Pretty much the same thing. I have a list of my bets, stake on each bet, and amount of cash won/lost.

i added the little money management at the bottom as a reminder not to be fucking dumb.
as you can see by my parlay record i don't often follow it :)

i guess teasers in a sense is borderline suicide too. but i pick my spots well and they're pretty much my favorite plays.
 
Along the same lines, one should record the opening & closing lines for each game, every week, for all teams. Yes, it's a lot of work but after a few seasons, you'll start to see a pattern for the teams/coaches and from that one can make more informed wagers.

Easiest way is to copy PDF of the wagers on line at your offshore before and after they are graded. You dont have to text anything.
They do all the work with the lines and wager amounts when you make the bets, so why not copy them in a PDF and save them. See example from bases.
