Hello Friends, 2026 Masters Week In Round

Definitely been up and down this year. I see horses with past performances like that, can't string them together but show up every other race. Hatton has that look right now.
I like this analogy.

With this being said, we need to start talking Derby. A guy I know was really getting me fired up tonight. I'm on vacation that entire week so I think I'll be heavily involved, unlike recent years.

Here is a new one for me.......was placing my tournament match-ups at one of my sites and they offered the following bet

"Big Guns -118 over Field -112"

I thought interesting but did not see any info on who included in the Big Guns category.....so, I click "Big Guns" so it would take me to the confirmation page thinking that it would expand and include the names of the players on the Big Guns side..........well, it did not and I then just said fukk it and went about my business of making my bets.........long story short, the Big Guns bet was still on my "bet" list and I didn't catch it before submitting the confirmation...............So, I called the Sportsbook to get details on what I bet or even cancel -- So, NOBODY at the sportsbook has a clue about this bet or who is included as the Big Guns (staff/managers/nobody)............JFC.......I suppose I get Scotty for sure.....LOL
I played the "Big Guns" bet on either the Masters or another major in '24 or '25.

This was placed at BetOnline.

For The Masters, this is a solid bet tbh if it's the group I think it is.

Buddy ( lucky AF) just bet Gotterup big ..Price dropped +500 to +4500...I'm jumping on too ..Not that I know anything about golf ..
Chris has won multiple times this year.

I call him Baby Brooks because his ascension kinda reminds me of Koepka a decade ago. Plus, he hammers his driver.

I was lucky enough to bet him at 80-1 at the Scottish Open last July. Then, I grabbed him at about half that in Phoenix this past Super Bowl Weekend. .

What is the issue this week?

First timer. We haven't seen someone win this since 1979 who hasn't started here.

He's the type to break that trend though!

My final thoughts...

This is shaping up to be an epic Masters!

As I've said here and elsewhere, I have several small "casino" bets I've placed when down at MGM the past few months after winning a bit at the tables... I definitely don't like most of those but ya never know!

Burns
Morikawa
Henley
Connors

The best of those IMO is Min Woo at 6600. I backed that up a few weeks back with more on Lee at 6000.

I've liked Reed for weeks and now everyone does. Thank goodness his ownership is low on DFS! I have some Fatty at 4000.

I didn't think I'd bite on Cam Young but I had to because he's so calm and ready for this. His presser sold me!

When it's all said and done, the favorite should be Jon Rahm. I have 1100 available on him and decided to just now pull the trigger. This one is weighted bigger, for obvious reasons.

Some quick hitters...

Deki is great value but that driver is the issue, as I've mentioned.

Fitzpatrick is a hot commodity right now. The issue with him is he hits the ball low and that's not ideal here. He's been working on a fade apparently.

Xander is a guy I think will have a big week. I haven't bet him though as the number lost any value. I also have this weird thing about him playing well for 4 rounds. He's on my stalk list.

Morikawa has been showing issues with the back so far in practice rounds.

Nicolai was solid here two years ago. That's a supreme talent that I played at 7000 (just now remembered I bet him lol). Also have Bhatia at 6000. You gotta have a lefty at Augusta!

Gotterup and Bridgeman both can break the curse of 1979. They have the games to win here. Still, I think they'll learn some lessons here this week and be ready in the future.

Lastly, Bryson irons+wedges are what keeps me away. That being said, nothing would shock me with Beefcake.

Okay, that's all I got.

No make/miss cut bets this year.

I actually don't hate a Rahm+130 top LIV bet.

“I watched 30 minutes saw a WWE wrestler, a comedian, a former NFL player turned broadcaster/podcaster, and a current football player. I’m waiting for the hot dog eating contest and Marty Smith in an outfit they wouldn’t allow in the Kentucky Derby! I’m trytrying to keep an open mind but The Masters doesn’t need the circus”

I don't watch wrastlin' but Miz was pretty good I thought

Starting to look like conditions are going to be much more difficult to score for those that haven't teed off yet

Round overs might all be in play going forward today

Favorite type of golf for me to watch

Going to likely see a bunch of one hop over the green type shots then putting on ice

To expand, virtually no one bets on overs when it comes to round scores. It's not fun. Basically like unders in every other sport.

But low scores early plus wind has me thinking there will be some uglier numbers this afternoon

Kelce is so unlikable. I don't get it. Seems fake to me. Give me Gronk over him any day.

This coverage is annoying again. The online feeds only covering Bryson and Rory groups. The main feed has completely cut away from Scottie and others who are playing to watch Rory walk around after 18.

Against all conventional thinking I just took Rahm u75.5 +125 today. Happy with the way he just drilled that par putt and two attainable par 5s on the back nine, I think he finishes closer to even par than the +4 he's at currently.
